0215003804/Death Investigation/03.15.2015

Commander entering: Sgt. Chavez

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center

Deceased: 55-year-old Male.

On Sunday, March 15, 2015, at approximately 11:03pm, Deputy Meek was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center, Santa Fe, New Mexico, in reference to a death investigation. Deputy Meek made contact with Detention Center Staff. Detention Center Staff advised that at 9:43pm, a male subject collapsed at an entry door.  CPR was conducted by jail staff and Medics responded. The subject did not respond to efforts to resuscitate him. There were no signs of foul play observed by Deputies. OMI arrived on scene at 1:45am and pronounced the time of death as 1:50am. At this time, OMI does not believe there was any foul play and the death was of natural causes. Victim was transported to OMI for an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.

Arrested: Isidoro Herrera    Age: 73        Santa Fe,NM

Subject was stopped by Deputy after a registration inquiry revealed that the driver was operating his vehicle while his license was revoked. Driver was stopped and arrested then transported to jail.

Location: 4500 block of New Mexico Highway 14, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Male, 48, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 2002 White KZ Sportsman Trailer

On Monday, March 16, 2015 at 12:51 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. Victim advised unknown suspect(s) removed the vehicle from location within the past few days.

0215003839 / Criminal Damage to property / 3-16-2015

Deputy Assigned: Tim Lopez

Location: Canada Village Road  / Old Santa Fe Trail  (East Santa Fe County)

Deputy responded to area in reference to mailbox clusters being damaged. Upon arrival, Deputy observed the damage to the mailbox clusters and notified the US Postal Service. Case is under investigation.

Case #0215003841, Breaking and Entering

Location: 1300 Block of Camino Mio, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Breaking and Entering, Disorderly Conduct

Suspect: Erin Corvin, 34, Santa Fe, NM

On Monday, March 16, 2015 at 4:10 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to someone attempting to gain unlawful entry. It was determined the suspect had seen an item she believed belonged to her at location and tried to gain entry to obtain the item. A window was damaged at location. Suspect began yelling, disturbing the peace. It was determined the item at location the suspect was trying to obatin did not belong to the suspect. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Case #0215003789 - DWI - 3/15/15

Commander entering: SGT Daniel Chavez

Location: US 84/285 mm183 - Arroyo Seco

Arrested: Floyd Martinez - age 57, Espanola, NM

The above driver was stopped for swerving on the roadway at about 5:36pm on March 15, 2015. He was found to be impaired and was placed under arrest. He refused a breath test and was booked into ADC after a search warrant for a blood draw was served.

Case #0215003799 - Battery against a Household Member - 3/15/15

Deputy assigned: Deputy Jasmin Lopez

Commander entering: SGT Daniel Chavez

Location: North Horizon Lane

Arrested: Thomas Martinez - age 44, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on 3/15/15 and found evidence the above suspect battered his girlfriend. The victim sustained minor abrasions to her mouth from the battery. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into ADC.

Case# 0215003800 Burglary Auto 03-15-15

Location: Old Las Vegas Hwy (Harry's Roadhouse)

Victim reported between 4:00 pm and 945 pm unknown persons forced entry into their vehicle. Once inside suspects removed a purse, wallet, nikon camera, credit cards, and a driver's license. Case  is under investigation.

Case 0215003742 Burglary 03-14-15

Location 200 block of Los Pinos Road

Stolen: ceramic mugs (2)

Victim reported that an unknown person stole the above listed items from the residence between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Case is under investigation.

 

Case #0215003785 Larceny 03-15-15

Location: Pajaro Blanco Road ( Santa Fe NM)

Stolen: Metal Gate ($500)

Victim reported between 3/12/15 at 5:00 pm and 03/15/15 12:00 pm unknown persons stole a gate from his property which was connected to a cynder block wall. Case is under investigation.
