The above listed subject was arrested on an active bench warrant for failure to appear. Subject was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Case # 0214006473 Fraudulent use of a credit card 05-01-14

Location:5166 Agua Fria St. (Allsups Convienence store)

Victim reported she had forgot her purse at the Sears located at the Santa Fe Place Mall. After realizing she had left the purse, contact was made with the victims bank and it was discovered her credit card was used at the Allsups located at 5166 Agua Fria St.  Amount of the charges are pending.

Location: Eldorado

Victim reported she sent a check for $138.50 through the mail to order concert tickets. She later learned from her bank that the same check had been cashed for $3200.00. Investigation is still ongoing. No suspects were known at the time of report.

Victim: Kevin Kelly 79yo male Santa Fe

Vehicle:

On April 30th 2014 Deputies responded to a residence located on Arbol Grande in reference to an unattended death. During the course of the investigation it was found that a 79 yo male had a single gunshot wound to the stomach. The male succumbed to the injuries and later pronounced deceased. Criminal Investigations was summoned to the scene to conduct an in-depth investigation. At this time no signs of foul play have been discovered.

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving

Suspect: Levi Brenza 20 yo Male Albuquerque

Victim: None

Vehicle: 205 Mitsubishi Wht/Wht

On April 30th 2014 Deputies responded to the location of Dinkle Road and Abajo in reference to a reported single vehicle rollover. Upon arrival and conducting their investigation Deputies learned that the driver, who was identified as Levi Brenza, was impaired by an intoxicant. Brenza submitted to a breath test which showed his breath alcohol level was equal to or greater than twice the New Mexico per se limit. Brenza was arrested and booked accordingly.

Case # 0214006275 - Breaking and Entering - 4/28/14

Location: Placita Verdad - Airport Road Area

The victim reported that sometime between 4/25/14 and 4/28/14, someone forced entry into a home under renovation. There was about $200 in damage done to the rear door. Nothing was missing from inside. No suspects or witnessess were known at the time of report.

Stolen: White and Gold wedding band with diamonds w/ infinity insignia, heart shaped white and gold diamond solitaire, and $170.00 US Currency coins and bills in piggy banks 

Total estimated value: $860.43

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim reports unknown person(s) gained unlawful entry into the above location. Once inside the above items were taken.  Case pending further investigation.

Victim: Angel Romero 38 yo female

Vehicle: None

On April 30, 2014 Deputies responded to a residence located at 6425 Vuelta Ventura in regards to a reported criminal damage to property. While conducting their investigation Deputies learned that the intoxicated suspect was wanting to get into the residence. The residence was found to be occupied by his girlfriend. Because the suspect was intoxicated the victim was not granting him entry into the residence. The suspect became upset and damaged the front door screen. The suspect was subsequently apprehended and booked accordingly.

Stolen: various tools

 Victim stated that between Friday, April 25th and Tuesday April 29th unknown suspects gained unlawful entry into the victims garage and took various tools. This case remains under investigation.

 Victim stated that unknown suspects possibly stold his check books. At a later date and time after the theft unknown suspct(s) attempted to cash on of te stolen checks at a local bank. This case remains under investigation.
