Arrested: Ronaldo Hernandez-Estrada 26 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Abandon and Abuse of a Child, Aggravated Battery, Battery on a Household Member, and Concealing Identity
Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival deputies found the vicitm unconscious in the parking lot of the above location. The above suspect was found standing over the victim. Through further investigation it was found that the above suspect was involved in a domestic with his wife. Suspect had slapped his wife in the face for hugging the victim while she was holding her 3 month old child. Victim tried to intervine, which caused the suspect to punch the victim several times and slam his head into the ground. Victim sustained a orbital fracture to his left eye. Suspect provided deputies with a different date of birth trying to conceal his identity. Suspect was arrest and booked accordingly without further incident.

On Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 10:08 PM the suspect was found on the side of the road at the location in physical control of the vehicle. The passenger was observed outside of the vehicle and he was vomiting. A welfare check was done on the occupants. The sus[ect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.

Victim reported between 12:00 p.m. and 6:30 pm unknown persons forced entry into his residence by breaking a window. Once inside the suspect(s) stole $9000.00 in cash. A possible witness advised sometime around 5:00 pm they observed a male walking away from the residence to a white in color pick up truck parked near the residence. Suspect identification is pending further investigation.

On March 20, 2014 victim advised two or three juvenile males stole (3) car batteries from (3) abandoned vehicles that are parked on victims property. Victim advised the batteries were worth $150.00 each. Suspect information is pending further investigation.

On Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 4:06 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and failed to stop for a posted stop sign. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater. There was an open bottle of vodka under the right front seat of the vehicle.

Arrested: Anthony Quintana 28 years old Santa Fe, NM, 87501
On March 19, 2014 the above listed suspect was observed traveling on Agua Fria passing Jemez Road while failing to stop at the posted stop sign. The vehicle was located and stopped at which time contact was made with the driver. The driver Mr. Quintana was observed outside of the vehicle and denied driving the motor vehicle. Due to Cpl. Trujillo observing Mr. Quintana driving, Mr. Quintana was placed under arrest. Mr. Quintana was booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Location: Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Center, Santa Fe, NM
Suspect: Vanessa A. Carrillo, 23, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Attempt to Commit a Felony, to wit: Disarming a Peace Officer
On Wednesday, March 19, 2014 between 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM, the suspect, who was a patient at the facility, became comabtive with medical staff. A Santa Fe County Deputy was present in the Emergency Room on an unrelated case when this happened and assisted the Medical Center Security Staff in gaining control of the suspect. During the course of this incident the suspect grabbed a hold of the deputy's sidearm and attempted to remove the pistol from its holster. This attempt was unsuccessful and the suspect was never able to gain control of the weapon.

Victim :Barbara Benavidez 53 yo female
Charges: Violation of Protection Order
On March 18th 2014 Deputy Jose Lujan responded to a residence off Valle Romero in reference to a Violation of Order of Protection. Upon arrival he found 29 year old Arthur Martinez on the floor with a self-inflicted puncture wound to the neck. Martinez was seen by medical personnel for the injuries he sustained. An Order of Protection was found to be in place and valid which had been filed by his mother Barbara Benavidez. After Martinez was released from the hospital he was taken to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked.

On above date, Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim a (56) fifty-six year old male was located unresponsive. Victim had health issues, and there were no signs of foul play.

Suspect: David Roybal 32 YOA Santa Fe
Vehicle: 20005 Mazda Gray/ Gray
Charges: Driving while under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and/or drug, Open Container, No Insurance.
On March 17th 2014 Deputies were engaged in a DWI check point on U.S. 84/285 at mile marker 170. During the course of the operation Deputy Garcia had the chance to make contact with a driver identified as David Roybal. During the course of contact with Roybal Deputy Garcia formulated the opinion that Roybal was possibly impaired by an intoxicant. Deputy Garcia administered the standardized field sobriety tests to Roybal during which time Deputy Garcia observed Roybal display numerous indicators of impairment by an intoxicant. Roybal was arrested and administered a certified breath test. Upon completion of the breath test the results were inconsistent with Deputy Garcia’s field observations and a blood test was subsequently administered. Results of the test are pending. Prior to the vehicle being towed a Budlite beer can was located on the passenger floorboard. The alcoholic beverage container had been open and its contents partially removed. At this time no evidence had been located that showed the vehicle Roybal was operating was insured.
