Arrested: Christopher Gutierrez, age 26, Santa Fe NM

Case#: 0213018885/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 12/4/13

Location:  2700 block of Boylan Circle, Santa Fe, NM (off of Agua Fria)

On 12/4/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 830 a.m. and 730 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into her residence by breaking a window.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole a Playstation 3 with controllers, an Ipad, and misc. amount of US Currency.  Estimated value of items taken is $1,510.00.  Estimated damage amount is $200.00.

Case#: 0213018884/ Death Investigation/ Date: 12/4/13

Deputy assigned: Deputy Randy Foster

Commander entering:  Lt. Linda Ortiz

Location:  2800 block of State Road 14, Madrid, NM (Madrid)

Victim:  61 year old male, Madrid, NM

On 12/4/13 deputies responded to above location in reference to an unresponsive, unconcious male.  Paramedics arrived on scene and located the male sitting on a chair inside the residence.  Paramedics stated that the victim was cold to the touch, unconcious, and unresponsive.  Deputies arrived on scene and contacted OMI.  The victim suffered from many illnesses.  No signs of foul play was found.

Case#: 0213018870/ Identity Theft/ Date: 12/4/13

Location:  residence off of Calle Cascabella, Santa Fe, NM (off of Rabbit Road)

On 12/4/13 deputy was dispatched to take a report of an identity theft.  Victim stated that she received a notice advising her she was delinquent on returning a Comcast Cable Box.  Victim stated that she did not have Comcast so she contacted the company.  The company advised that the service was in Valeo, California.  Victim stated that she had lost her purse a while back in California.  It is unknown who the suspects are at this time.

Case#: 0213018868/ Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 12/4/13

Location:  3200 block of Paseo Segunda, Santa Fe, NM (off of Hyde Park Road)

On 12/4/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  The reporting party stated that the residence was leased to a female who damaged the residence and stole several items.  Reporting party stated that the suspect has not been evicted out of the residence as of yet.  Damage was done to the windows and doors throughout the residence.  Items stolen are misc. tools, misc. furniture, musical instruments, misc. clothing, paintings, ski equipment, a wood burning stove, misc. jewelry, golf equipment, and fishing gear.  Estimated value of items taken is $39,850.00.  Estimated damage amount is $450.00.

Location:  1000 block of Camino Vista Aurora, Santa Fe, NM (off of Rufina)

On 12/4/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 730 am and 100 pm unknown persons broke a window and gained entry into the residence.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole misc. jewelry, and a knife.  Estimated value of items taken is $530.00.  Estimated damage amount is $200.00.

Location :  100 Block of Mutt Nelson Road, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Green/Red, 1993, Mack, Dump truck

Between Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 5:00 PM and Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 5:30 AM person(s) unknown utilizing unknown means forced open the battery boxes on the vehicle while it was parked at a residence at the location.  Once inside the battery boxes, person(s) unknown cut the wires and removed three (3) batteries from the vehicle,

0213018841, Aggravated Auto Burglary, 12/4/13

Location: Buffalo Thunder Resort

Suspect: Pending

Victim reports 1998 Ford Crown Victoria entered by unknown means while parked in the parking lot of the casino and a .357 cal. Taurus pistol is reported missing.  The pistol was entered into N.C.I.C. as stolen.  Case is under investigation

Case#: 0213018832, 0213018834/Battery against a household member, Warrant Service/ Date: 12/3/13

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Chris Valencia

Location:  2755 Sycamore Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP)

Suspect:  Joe Pena, age 59,  Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery against a household member, Bench warrant for Failure to comply with conditions of release with the Electronic Monitoring Program

On 12/3/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a medical call.  RECC stated that they could hear a struggle over the phone between a male and female.  Victim stated that the suspect got mad at her.  Victim stated that the suspect pulled her hair and also choked her.  Victim had injuries that were consistent with her statedment.  Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  Suspect was also arrested on a warrant out of Electronic Monitoring for Failure to comply with conditions of release.
