Stolen: Firearm

  Victim stated that between October 04, 2013 at 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm on October 06, 2013 suspects gained unauthorized entry into the victims home. Once entry was gained the suspects took the above item from within the home. This case remains under investigation.

Location: US Highway 84/285 and Santa Fe County Road 109

Arrested: Noel Martinez, 42-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 10-07-13 at about 7:45AM Mr. Martinez pointed a double barrel shotgun at the male victim while they were both stopped for a red light at the above intersection.  The victim reported the incident to the Sheriff's Office.  Contact was made with Mr. Martinez shortly after and he was arrested.

Stolen: Bronze sculpture, copper pot and a brass faucet fixture.  Total value of $10,120.00

Sometime between September 30th and today someone stole the above listed items from the victim's front yard.

Stolen: old wood burning stove valued at about $650.00

Sometime between October 5th and October 7th someone stole a wood burning stove from the victim's front yard.

Stolen: Woman's Purse containing misc. items, and prescription medication Total Estimated Value: $251.00

Victim reports unknown person(s) gained unlawful entry into the above location sometime between the hours of 6:30pm and 7:00pm.  Once inside the above items were taken.  Case still pending further investigation.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a burglary. Complainant reports the vending machine was damaged and unknown amount of cash was taken from it.  Total estimated value of damage $1,000.00.  Case still pending further investigation.

Suspect:  James Barela, age 29, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Bench warrant out of First Judicial Court for Failure to appear (Docket #: D-0101-CR-201300203)/ Bench warrant out of Second Judicial Court for Failure to comply with probation-Grand Jury indictment: Robbery, Battery against a household member(Docket#: D-202-CR-2012-03532)/ Bench warrant out of Second Judicial Court for Failure to comply with probation-Grand Jury indictment: Embezzlement of a Motor Vehicle (Docket#: D-202-CR-2012-03779)

On 10/6/13 deputies were dispatched to above location in refernce to a wanted person who had several felony warrants.  Suspect was located underneath a mobile home and refused to come out.  Deputies commanded suspect to come out in which he finally did and was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center on above warrants.

Suspect:  Michelle Finn, age 23, Albuquerque, NM

Charged:  Battery against a household member

On 10/6/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a domestic dispute.  Suspect advised that she and victim were involved in an argument over money.  Suspect stated that victim got in her face in which she pushed victim.  Victim grabbed child and the suspect scratched victim on his neck.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location:  214 Santa Fe County Road 84, Santa Fe, NM (Jaconita)

Suspect:  Mai Ting, age 68, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Agg. Battery against a household member

On 10/6/13 deputy responded to a 911 hang up call at the above location.  Contact was made with the victim and the suspect who advised they were involved in an argument.  Suspect struck victim on the left side of his head with a broom stick and hit him on the right hand with a mop handle.  Suspect admitted to striking victim.  Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: College Ave (Richards Av area)

Stolen: 3 ipads $1000ea, 1 iphone $500, 1 ipod touch $300

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to 3 auto burglaries. Each vehicle had a window broken out and the items that were taken were in plain view. Each damaged window was valued at about $300.00. The theft took place sometime between 9:30am and 10:30am
