On 7/12/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a damage to motor vehicle. Victim stated that unknown persons put sugar into his gas tank and damaged his left front door. Victim stated that he noticed the damage because his gas tank was clogged with sugar when he went to put gas. Victim stated that the unknown persons may have done the damage on July 8, 2012 between 0200 and 1800 hours because he did not park his vehicle in the garage. Victim stated that unknown persons also slashed his trailer tires on July 6, 2012 Estimated damage amount is $4,120.00.

Victim reports that a blank check from her checking account was given to an employee to write for businness expenditures and its reported that the employee wrote the check to himself and cashed it the amount of $850.00. This case is currently under investigation at this time

Some time between 10:00pm on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 and 11:45am on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, an unidentified suspect(s) entered the front yard of the above property and stole several garden/working tools. Victim is doing work around the house and has several belongings in the front yard. Estimated value of the items taken is $680.00.

Victim reported that sometime between 6/8/2012 and today 7-10-11 unknown persons unlawfully took his utility trailer while it was parked on the property for several weeks. Victim stated he was out of town and when he returned the trailer was stolen. Case is still under investigation. Trailer was valued at approximately $3800

Charged: Aggravated Fleeing, Agg. DWI, Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Careless Driving
On 7/10/12 while enroute to assist another law enforcement agency with a foot pursuit of an armed burglary suspect, deputy was forced off the road by the above suspect who was driving a white in color SUV. The suspect then was driving into incoming traffic and almost crashed into several vehicles. Deputy began to pursue the vehicle in which the suspect crashed into a rock retaining wall in which the vehicle then backed his vehicle into the deputies vehicle. Driver was found to be impaired and was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 7/10/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that his vehicle was repossessed on 6/28/12. Victim stated that he got his vehicle back in good standing. Victim stated that he went to pick up his vehicle from the repossession lot and noticed that the car stereo with DVD player and screen and a radar detector were missing. Victim stated that the vehicle was left unlocked. Estimated value of items taken is $650.00.

The above listed subject was arrested on an active felony Bench Warrant for Trafficking a controlled substance. Subject was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: 1 white and yellow gold, Buccellati brand thistle-shaped pin that was 3-4 inches in length and valued at $2,500, a blue and white sweater from Norway valued at $100, and a multi-colored 18 inch necklace with ancient stones and silver valued at $400.
Victim advised they had the above listed jewelry stolen along with a sweater. The victims believe the incident occurred while they were away shopping on June 23, 2012 or June 30, 2012 between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Drug Paraphernalia, Roadways Laned for Traffice
On Monday, July 9, 2012 at 11:25 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and submitted toi a Blood Test. The results of this test are pending. The suspect was found to be in possession of a green, leafy, plant material suspected of being marrijuana and a prescription medication without a prescription. The suspect was also found to be in possession of a plastic straw which contained residue suspected of being the prescription medication. The suspected marijuana and prescription medication will be sent to the Department of Public Safety Forensic Laboratory for analysis.
