Suspect:  Phillip Herrera, age 38, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery on a household member

On 1-7-11, deputies were dispatched to the above address.  Victim stated that suspect came home drunk and they got into a verbal argument over him being intoxicated. Victim stated suspect then got in her face and began to curse at her. Victim stated that suspect continued to come after her so she grabbed a stick to ward him off. Victim stated that he then grabbed her arm and the stick and took the stick away and grabbed her arms again. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

0211000297, Burglary, 1-7-2011

Deputy Assigned: T. Benavidez

Commander Entering: Cpl. R. Rodriguez

Location: 7400 block of La Jara Road (Riverside Mobile Home Park)

Suspect: Pending

Deputies were dispatched to La Jara Rd. in reference to a Burglary.  Deputies discovered victims front door to reisdence had been kicked open.  Suspect(s) stole a black 40 inch Samsung flatscreen television.  Case is under investigation.

0211000250, Burglary, 1-6-11

Location: Santa Fe County Road 56 (Paseo Rael)

Suspect: Pending

Deputies responded to an Auto Burglary.  Victim advised that entry was gained through the right front vehicle.  Once inside suspect(s) took a back pack, wallet, cash, and credit cards.  Case is under investigation.

0211000276 / DWI / 01-06-2011

Deputy Assigned: Brian Nissen

Location: Cerrillos Road / I-25 overpass

Arrested: Diana Avila  22 Years old  Santa Fe

Listed person was stopped after deputy observed a traffic violation. Upon contact with the driver it was determined that she was operating a vehicle while impaired. Driver was  arrested without incident and taken to jail.

Location of Incident: 4250 Airport Road (Electronic Monitoring) Santa Fe, NM

Suspect/Arrested: Carl Whitcomb (57 yoa) 2800 Calle De Senora Santa Fe, NM

 

On 1-5-2011 the above suspect was arrested and transported to the Santa Fe County Detention Center where he was booked on a District Court warrant charging him with failure to comply with conditions of release while on electronic monitoring.

0211000230 / Burglary (Commercial) / 01-06-2011

Location: El Paisano Food Market - Airport Road

Deputies responded to location in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival it was discovered that the business had been burglarized. Suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money. Case is still under investigation

0211-000230/Commercial Burglary/ 1-6-11

Deputy: Cpl Mike Martinez

Location: El Paisano Food Mart, 5984 Airport Road

Suspects: three males wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandannas

Charges: Pending

On the above date at about 2:30am, suspects gained forced entry into the front door using a crowbar. Two individuals entered the store and proceeded to take several items from behind the register. The suspects then gained entry into the main office where they forced entry into a safe and took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects also used a crow bar to damage the surveillance system and cash register monitor. Evidence was collected on scene and the case is currently under investigation.

0211000219 / Aggravated DWI / 01-05-2011

Arrested: Daniel Maes  Age: 27  Santa Fe

On January 5th, 2011 Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash at the above location. Upon arrival contact was made with the driver who was found to be impaired. Driver was placed  under arrest and was taken to jail where he was booked accordingly for the above charge..

0211-228/ Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon/ 1-6-11

Charges: Pending

On the above date the victims of a burglary confronted a possible suspect . According to the victim the individuals were wearing hoods and were armed with bats and knives. The individuals then grabbed the victim who was waiting outside and drug him about 100 yards to the road where he was questioned by the victims of a recent burglary. The victim was able to get away, get back into the house and call 911. Victim sustained minor injuries.

On the above date victim reported that she left her house for a short time. When she came home and entered the house she noticed a XBox 360 slim and 11 Xbox games missing from her residence.Total value for the items was estimated at $320.00. It could not be determined how entry was made into the residence. The case is under investigation .
