Stolen: Dell laptop, Verizon internet card, square emerald ring surrounded by diamonds yellow gold wedding ring, one 1/4 karat diamond white gold ring. Three stone (blue, red, yellow) yellow gold ring, Gold wedding band, Passport Silver/ turquoise ring, Vizio 32inch TV
Victim reported that on 01-14-2011 sometime between 10:30 am and 4:40 pm someone unlawfully entered the residence by kicking open his front door and entered his house and stole the above items.
The items stolen were valued at about $8265.00

Victim reported a hunting bow needed work, and let the friend take it to get fixed. Victim reported the friend never returned the bow and offered to buy the bow. Victim agreed, and the friend kept the bow and never paid for it.. The bow is described as a tri-color Matthews Z7. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported she was awoken by her dog and discovered two suspect's in her residence, and stated no property was taken. Victim reported suspect's were seen leaving area in a red Toyota truck. Case is under investigation.

On this date Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Detention Center in regards to a corrections Officer being battered by an inmate. Victim stated an inmate had struck him several times with a closed fist while being asked to return to his cell. Inmate was charged accordingly.

Deputies responded to a radio call of a larceny that had just taken place. Victim stated that unknown persons had stolen a utility trailer with a welder attached. Case is still under investigation

Arrested: Alexis Chavez 20 years old, Santa Fe NM
On this date Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a dark blue passenger vehicle. The suspect driver fled from the above area headed towards Agua Fria Street and was involved in a car crash after attempting to run the red light at Siler Rd and Agua Fria. The suspect driver was arrested for Aggravated Fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: Laptop computer, Playstation2 & games, DVD player,
Victim reported that sometime on this date some unknown person unlawfully entered her residence by unknown means. Upon entering the residence the above listed items were stolen. Several windows and a door were damaged.
The above listed stolen/damaged items were valued at about $2450.00

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (61 year old Male) passed away at the above residence. It was undetermined what the cause of death was at this time; there were no signs of foul play located at the scene, appears to be of natural causes.

VICTIM: 65 YOA MALE
Victim was found by his family members in the residencee. Victim was located in bed and found non-responsive. Medics were called to the location. Investigation revealed that victim had major health problems and was scheduled to begin Hospice this date. No criminal activity was found and OMI was contacted to take over.

Deputies responded to above location after victim reported that four unauthorized transactions were noticed on their account. The transactions were noticed on the bank statement mailed to the residence. The transactions totaled $289.04 all from a Microsoft website. Case is under investigation.
