On 10/4/10 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that this occurred between the hours of 1200 and 1330. Victim stated that unknown persons kicked open the front door to gain entry. Victim stated that unknown persons took a 32" Samsung TV, a playstation 3, playstation controller, 9 playstation games, a RC Dodge Challenger, and a Cowboys jersey. Estimated value of items taken is $1540.00.

On 10/4/10 victim stated that unknown persons broke into his toolbox which is on his pickup truck. Victim stated that this may have occurred on 10/2/10. Victim stated that unknown persons pried open the toolbox and removed misc. tools. Estimated value of items taken is $700.00.

On 10/4/10 unknown suspects cut locks to 2 storage containers and removed 2 Honda generators, 1 generack generator, and 1 winch. Victim stated that this occurred sometime between 9/1/10 and 10/3/10. Victim stated that suspects had cut the locks. Estimated value of items taken is $13,000.00.

On 10/4/10 victim stated that she left her residence at 1445 hours and returned at 1550 hours to discover that her residence had been burglarized. Victim stated that unknown persons took a 42" flatscreen TV, an LG cell phone, a Wii gaming system and a purple bicycle. Estimated value of items taken is $1,550.00. It is unknown the exact location for point of entry. Victim may have left her door unlocked.

Location: residence off of Saddlehorn Place, Santa Fe, NM (Rancho Viejo Subdivision)
On 10/04/10,victim was selling a table and four chairs for $200.00 on Craigs List. Suspect contacted victim via email and stated he wanted to purchase the table and chairs. Suspect sent the victim a check for $3800.00. Victim took the check and deposited it in her account after three days went back to the bank retrieved the money took her payment and sent the remainder back to the suspect via money gram to California. Victim found out the following day that $3800.00 was removed from account to cover the check the suspect sent her because it was a bad check. Vicitm made contact with the suspect and advised him of the incident concerning the check he sent. Suspect reassured her he would pay it back after two days of corresponing on the internet victim told suspect if he didn’t send her money she would contact law enforcement. Suspect then ceased all contact with victim.

On 10-03-10 the victim reported that he parked his vehicle at the above location while biking on the trail. When he returned to the vehicle he found the driver side window broken. Upon checking his vehicle he found the above items were stolen. No witnesses or latent prints were located.

Between 1:30 PM on October 3, 2010 and 1:40 AM on October 4, 2010 person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a residence at the location by forcing open the rear door. Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown damaged walls, appliances and furniture. No items were taken.

On October 4, 2010 at 12:20 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location when he almost struck Deputy Martinez. Deputy Martinez was on the shoulder of the roadway conducting a traffic stop and the suspect failed toslow down and move over to the inside lane. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. The suspect was unable to produce his valid New Mexico Driver's License upon request.
