021002879 Assault Against A Household Member 04-12-10

On 04-12-10 the victim reported that she had gotten in to a domestic dipute on 03-20-10 to where her husband had pinned her to the bed and sexually assaulted her. According to the victim she did not report the incident because she is affraid of him.

Victim stated that sometime between 03-29-10 and 04-09-10 some one gained entry to the unsecured construction office and stole two Husqvama Chain Saws. According to the victim the construction office is left unattended during working hours at times.

Victim #1:  Julian Vaugh, 21, Chimayo, NM

Victim #2:  Priscilla Herrera, 24, Chimayo, NM

Victim: #3: Roy Martinez, 51, Chimayo, NM

Suspect #1:  Male, 18, Chimayo

Suspect #2:  Male 39, Chimayo, NM

Suspect #3:  Unidentied Male

Suspect #4:  Unidentified Female

Vehicle:  Unkknown Year, Copper, Chevy, Colorado, pick-up

On 4-11-2010 at 11:00 PM Suspects #1 was allowed entry to a residence at the location by Victim #1.  Suspect #1 then allowed Suspects 2 thru 4 into the residence.  Suspects #1 thru #3 were armed with knives and hammers and held all Victims against their will.  Victim #2 was prevented from calling law enforcement.  Suspect #1 then removed approximately $500.00 in US currency from the residence. All four Suspects then fled the area in the vehicle.

0210002853 Death Investigation 04-11-10

Location Of Incident: Camino Cerrado / Pojoaque Terrace MHP

Suspect Pending

 On 04-11-10 att approximately 6:09 AM deputies were dispatched to a shots fired call at the above location. When they arrived it was discovered that the home owner shot two male subjects after they forced their way in to the residence. The case is still under investigation.

Mario Valencia was arrested on (4) outstanding Bench Warrants after Deputies responded to a suspicious person call on Morning Drive.  During Arrest, Deputies discovered Valencia was in possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was booked without incident.

Deputy responded to motor vehicle crash on N. Shining Sun.  Passenger Christian Melat arrested for outstanding Bench Warrant.  Booked without incident.

 On 04-11-10  the Albuqurque Police Department called our agency to report that they had located a burning vehicle belonging to the victim in their jurisdiction. They were requesting that we send a officer to contact the owner at the above location. When the deputy made contact with the victim she stated that her vehicle was stolen.

On 04-11-10 at approximately 08:21 AM the victim and suspect were involved in a domestic dispute and the victim reported that she had been slapped by the suspect. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Vehicle:  2009, Black, Audi, 4 door

Supect:  Juvenile Male, 17, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Reckless Driving

On 4-10-2010 at 1:26 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location at an excessive rate of speed and struck a dirt embankment.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.

Charges: Felony DWI, Careless Driving, Revoked Drivers License,

On 04-09-10 at approximately 7:18 PM deputies were dispatched to Santa Fe County Rd. 44 reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival contact was made with the suspect. During the investigation it was determined the suspect was under the influence of intoxicating liqour or drugs. A drivers license inquiry revealed that the suspect had four prior DWI convictions. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.
