Complainant reported that on 3-17-2010 an unknown male removed the locks from a storage shed rented by Best Western Inn of Santa Fe and gained unauthorized entry.  Complainant determined that the only items taken were 4 rolls of commerical wall paper valued at $500.00.  Complainant advised that he observed a male in a green Ford Ranger pick-up driving away from the storage shed as he arrived this morning at about 8:30 a.m..  No further information is available at this time.

Victim reports someone kicked in her front door between 3:00pm on March 15th and 2:30am on March 16th, while she was away. Nothing was missing from inside. Witnesses report seeing a black car in the driveway during the night, which didn't belong there. The suspect(s) still hasn't been identified.

0210002051 Stolen Motor Vehicle

Stolen: Yamaha Motorcycle TTR 90cc

 Victim reported that on this date sometime between 6:00pm and 6:30pm some unknown person stole his motorcycle. Victim reported the motorcycle was stolen from the side of his residence, it was a 2004 blue Yamaha TTR90cc valued at about $400.00

Case#: 0210002038/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 03/15/10

Location:  3400 block of Hyde Park Road, Santa Fe, NM

On 3/15/10 victim reported that between 3/14/10 at 2300 hours and 3/15/10 at 0650 hours unknown persons gained entry through south side front window by breaking window with an unknown object.  Unknown persons went into safe closet area and dismantled 3 metal safes. Unknown persons took about $20,000.00 in US Currency.  Estimated damage amount is $6,000.00.

The above suspect was located and arrested on the above warrant without incident

On 3-14-2010 the victim left the vehucle running, unsecured while she returned to a bussiness at the location.  When the victim reurned to the parking lot, the vehicle was missing.

Suspect:  Moses E. Medina-Salazar, 23, Alcade, NM

Charged:  Warrant -  Failure to Appear

On 3-13-2010 at 10:08 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location when he was stopped for speeding.  A check with the New Mexico Crime Information Center revealed that there was an active Arrest Warrant for the suspect issued by the Rio Arriba County Magistrate Court.

On the above date the victim reported that sometime between 3-12-10 3:00 pm and 3-13-10 10:00am  someone used a blunt object to force entry to his vehicle. Taken were several items valued at $800.00.

Charges: Battery Against A Household Member

On the above date the victim and suspect got in to an arguement over a female calling the victim on his cell phone. After arguing for a while the suspect battered the victim and was placed under arrest when deputies arrived on scene.
