021000334 Unattended Death Investigation 02-18-10

Location: 4000 block of Old Pecos Trail, SFNM

Deceased: Martha Martinez 50yoa

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the above location regarding the above investigation.  Upon arrival first responders Medical units were already on scene and advised that Ms. Martinez was unresponsive  to their attempts to revieve her.  Further investigation showed that Ms. Martinez had an extensive medical history and had been sick for several months.  Investigation with the office of the medical investigator did not show any signs of foul play.  For further information refer to officer's report.

On 2-17-2010 at 11:32 PM the suspect went to a residence at the location and began knocking on the doors and windows to gain entry.  The victim was in possession of an Order of Protection prohibiting the suspect from contacting her.  The suspect was located a short distiance from the residence and taken into custody.

On 2-17-2010 at 8:31 PM the suspect was attempting to pull out of a parking space.  For reason(s) unknown the suspect lost control of the vehicle and struck a fence at the location.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test

On 2/17/10 deputies responded to a medical assist call and upon arrival Paramedics were attempting to revive a 56 year old female suffering from multiple medical complications.  They were unsuccessful and the female was pronounced deceased at the scene.  No foul play suspected.

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the above location regarding the above investigation.  Upon arrival, the victim stated that person(s) unknown made unathorized charges to her checking account.  The charges were made in Bernallio County, and the estimated loss was $1,211.00.  For further information, refer to officer's report.
