CHARGES: AGGRAVATED DWI, SPEEDING AND ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC
ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED SPEEDING (100 MPH - 75 MPH SPEED ZONE) NORTH BOUND I-25, THEN EXITED I-25 ONTO CERRILLOS ROAD. SUSPECT WAS THEN OBSERVED FAILING TO MAINTAIN HIS LANE OF THE ROADWAY. SUSPECT WAS STOPPED AND FOUND TO HAVE BEEN DRINING. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED FOR AGGRAVATED DWI AND HAD A .16 BrAC AT THE TIME OF THE BREAHT TESTING. SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES. SUSPECTS VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

Vehicle: Black, 2004, GMC, Yukon
Driver: Patrick Gallegos, 44, Las Vegas, NM
On 10-16-2009 at 9:11 PM Gallegos was operating the vehicle north at the location in the right lane. For reason(s) unknown Doe entered the roadway from right to left. Doe then reversed his direction and began walking left to right. Gallegos initiated evassive action (steering to the right) but was unable to avoid Doe. As a result the left front bumper of the vehicle struck the right side of Doe. At 12:50 AM, on 10-17-2009, Doe was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Medical Investigator Fordham. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor nor does speed. Neith Gallegos nor his wife and daughte,r who were passengers in the vehicle, were injured as a result of this crash. All attempts to identify Doe so far have met with negative results.

Stolen: dell laptop, office computer, Survey equipment, TV, printer, documents.
Victim reported that sometime between 6:00pm no 10/16/09 and 8:00am on this date the above property valued at about $40000.00 was stolen from the construction office. Suspects forced entry into the building by prying open the south side door. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.Deputy assigned: Nathan Segura

Victim reported that sometime between 8:00pm on 10-16-09 and 9:00am today unknown persons stole a tile saw that was sitting on a make shift table in his back yard. The tile saw was valued at about $890.00. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.deputy assigned: Doug Wood

On the above date, the above named officer was dispatched to the parking lot of the adult detention center, regarding the defendant who wanted to turn herself in on an active arrest warrant from the Magistrate Court. Upon making contact with her the warrant was confirmed and she was booked without incident.

Suspect: 41 year old female and 19 year old female
On 10/15/09 victim reported that above suspects stole checks from inside the residence. Checks were cashed between 8/17/09 and 10/12/09. Victim filed a report with the band and is in the process of closing the account. Suspects also forged victim's name. Estimated amount taken is $1215.99.

On 10/15/09 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a fight in progress. Deputies were advised that there were 2 females fighting and both armed with knives. Deputies located a female in the middle of Airport Road who had minor lacerations. The other party was located and had minor cuts to her knees and had blood on her clothing and hands. All parties involved her highly intoxicated. CID was contacted and took over investigation.

Victim reported that sometime between 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 14, 2009 and 6:00 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2009 an unknown person(s) gained forced entry onto the fenced property and then gained forced entry into a shed on the property and stole the above listed items. No suspect or witness information is available at this time.

Victim: 2 month old male
On Oct. 15, 2009 at approximately 7:15 a.m. deputies responded to a residence at the above location in reference to an unresponsive infant. The infant was transported by ambulance to St. Vincent Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 7:40 a.m.. Further investigation into this matter is pending.
