0209002975/ Criminal Damage to Property/ 04-09-09

Location: La Puebla Road

The reporting party had purchased the residence as a real estate sale. The victim had renovated the residence. The location was last seen in good condition on Sunday 04-05-09 at about 1:30pm. The victim returned to the property on 04-09-09 to find the residence to have 13 windows broken and several holes in the interior walls. The damage appeared to be done with bricks and rocks left in the residence. No suspects have been identified at this time.

Stolen: Sony Computer, Canon Printer, Panasonic Camera, Binoculars, lense to camera, crystal jar with miscellaneous earrings

Value: $14,015

Victim left her residence at 7:30am and returned at about 6:28pm and found the front door kicked in. Upon entering the residence the above itmes were found to be missing. No suspects had been developed at this time.

Suspect: David Valdez    Age: 21   Santa Fe

David Valdez was arrested for Felony Child Abuse and Assault against a household member after deputies responded to the area of the Agua Fria Firestation regarding a domestic disturbance in a moving vehicle.  Upon deputies arrival they discovered suspect had held 3yr. old baby out of window of car while in motion and threatened to batter driver/relative.  Valdez was booked accordingly.

Victim reports home was entered through rear sliding glass door, no apparent forced entry and various items including a 47" flatscreen t.v. and an HP computer were taken.  Case is under investigation.

Sometinme Between 4-3-09 3:00pm and 4-8-09 3:00pm some unknown person stole two AC/Heating units for the above location. The units were mounted on top of the residence and valued at about 10,000.00.

Item Stolen: Residential Air Conditioner. Valued $5000.00

 On Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 11:40am, Mr. David Copher, a consultant for Century Bank, reported that between 4-3-2009 at 11:00am and 4-4-2009 at 12:00pm, an unknown suspect had stolen an air conditioner unit off the top of the house on Calle Ojitos.  There were no signs of vehicle tracks in the driveway and there are no neighbors that live in close proximity to this residence.

Location: SR 502 - Pojoaque, NM

Arrested: Jose Hernandez - age 33, Espanola, NM

The above driver was involved in a motor vehicle crash and fled the scene. He was later located and stopped by Pojoaque PD and showed signs of impairment. He was placed under arrest by our agency and booked into ADC accordingly. The driver refused a breath test.

Stolen Items: Stereo

Victim reported that his vehicle was broken into and the above item was stolen.  Entry was gained by breaking out a side window.  An audible alarm sounded and deputy responded to the alarm, locating the burglary.  No suspect information is available at this time.
