02090002759 Battery upon a Household Member 4/1/09

Arrested:  Runyan, Suthathip DOB: 3/28/73 Charges: Battery on a household member

 The victim, husband and his wife were involved in a domestic disturbance.  The argument became violent and the male subject was struck by the above suspect.  The male had torn clothing and damaged glasses.  The female party was determined to be the primary aggressor and was arrested

CASE 0209002775 / CONTRIBUTING TO A MINOR, BUYING SELLING GIVING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR, AGGRAVATED DWI, OPEN CONTAINER, REGISTRATIO

DEPUTY ASIGNED:  SGT CLIFTON COLEMAN

COMMANDER:  SGT. CLIFTON COLEMAN

LOCATION:  AGUA FRIA / AIRPORT ROAD, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  ADAL MENDOZA, 21 YOA MALE

CHARGES:  CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELIQUENCE OF A MINOR, BUYING SELLING GIVING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR, AGGRAVATED DWI, PROOF OF INSURANCE, REGISTRATION REQUIRED, OPEN CONTAINER

On this date Sgt Coleman aboserved vehicle parked in the roadway of Agua Fria.  Investigation found where the driver Adal Mendoza was found to have been drinking and giving alcohol to his three 14 year old juvenile passengers.  He was found to have open conatiners for beer and Vodka, no proof of insurance and registration. Suspect had a .17 / .16 BrAC at the time of testing. He was arrested and taken the the Adult Detention Center.  The three juveniles were released to their parent and referred to the Juvenile Probation Office for one count of buyin selling alcohol to a minor (possession).

0209002758/ Burglary/ 04-01-09

Location: San Ysidro Crossing

Stolen: Miscellaneous Auto accessories

Value: $870.00

On 04-01-09 the victim reported that at about 2:30pm, two hispanic males had removed the above items from her camaro. The victim heard loud banging sounds and upon exiting the residence found the males inside her vehicle. The males ran to an awaiting vehicle and fled the area. This case is currently under investigation.

Value: $2,951.00

The owner of the above business reported that between 05-01-08 and 05-07-08 numerous pet supplies were taken from the business. The items came up missing during the annual inventory. This matter is currently under investigation.

0209002721 Death Investigation

Deputy Assigned: JB Nissen

Commander Entering: Cpl. Fred Suazo

Location: Quiet Valley Loop, Edgewood NM

Victim : 48 year old female

On 03/31/2008 the above victim was found unconscious and barely breathing, however medical units arrived on scene and attempted to revive the victim but were unable to do so. A investigation followed and the cause of death is unknown at this time although there is a history of the victim having a heart murmur.

0209002742 / AGG DWI / 4-1-09

Location: Agua Fria Rd / Jemez Road

Arrested: Lisa Rodriguez - age 34, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was stopped for speeding and failing to stop at a stop sign. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. The driver refused to submit to a breath test and was subsequently booked into ADC.

0209002743 / AGG DWI / 4-1-09

Location: Avenida Aldea, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Celeste Egedy - age 21, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was stopped for careless driving. She exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. The driver submitted to a breath test and the results were .21 and .21. The driver was booked into ADC accordingly.

Location: Allsup's State Road 14

Stolen: Compaq Laptop and 75 blank DVD's

Value: $1,025.00

On 03-31-2009 between 1:50pm and 7:00pm someone entered the victims vehicle and stole the above items. The vehicle was a 1997 Jeep and was parked at the above location. There did not appear to be any force used to gain entry into the vehicle.

Location: Camino Juliana, Cedar Creek Apts. Santa Fe NM

Items Stolen: 2 Rings, EBT card, $120.00 cash

Suspect: Hispanic or Mexican Male 5'6", Wearing maroon hoodie, gray pants, and converse tennis shoesVictim reported that on this date at about 11:20am at the above location some unknown person knocked on the back door. Victim stated she answered the door and a male suspect forced his way into the apartment, grabbed her hair. Victim was able to get loose and ran out the front door and called 911. Victim’s purse was later located outside by another resident. The above listed items were reported missing from the victim’s purse.

0209002684 Burglary

Location: Dinosaur Trail, Santa Fe NM

Items Stolen: 2-space heaters,extention cords, drywall stilts, Value $2450.00

Victim reported that sometime between 3/27/09 at 5:00pm and 3/30/09 7:00am some unknown gained entry in the new BLM building which is still under construction. Entry was possible gained through an unlocked door and stole the above mentioned items. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
