CASE 0209000762 - CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELIQUENCY OF A MINOR, BUYING SELLING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR / 01-24-2009

DEPUTY ASSIGNED:  SGT CLIFTON COLEMAN

LOCATION: 4600 BLOCK OF AIRPORT ROAD, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  4 JUVENILES, 16 TO 17 YOA

CHARGES: 1 COUNT OF CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELIQUENCY OF A MINOR - 4 COUNTS OF BUYING SELLING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR

On this date officer was sent to the above listede location due to a report of a loud party.  Deputy's arrived and found about twenty juveniles in the street drinking beer.  As deputy's stopped most of the juveniles fled the area on foot.  Four were located inside of the house and all were intoxicated.  One juvenile male who lives at the house was arrested and charged with contributing and buying selling alcohol to a minor.  The other three were charged with buying selling alcohol to aminor and all were released to their parents.  Case is being reffered to the Juvenile Probation Office.

CASE 0209000764 / BURGLARY - CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY / 01-24-2009

LOCATION: 7600 BLOCK OF BACA LANE, SANTA FE AREA

ITEMS STOLEN:  PENDING

On this date, victim reported some  one had broken out the passenger side window od his Frito Lay delivery vehicle.  The truck had been fully stocked the night before, but the driver was unable to tell if anything was missing at this time.  Victim reported that all of the boxs had been opened, but he would have to do an inventory of the merchandise.  Case is still under investigation at this time.

CASE 0209000761 / SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS - WARRANTS / 01-23-2009

DEPUTY ASSIGNED:  DEPUTY RAY VILLANUEVA

LOCATION:  4600 BLOCK OF PUNTA SONRISIA, ELDORADO AREA

ARRESTED: TOMAS MARTINEZ, 23 YOA MALE

CHARGES: WARRANTS

On this date deputy were dispatched to above listed location due to a report of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.  Victim was found to have two warrants for his arrest out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to comply.  Suspect listed above was arrested and transported to the Adult Detention Center with out incident.

CASE 0209000760 / AGGRAVATED DWI - DRIVING ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC / 01-23-2009

OFFICER ASSIGNED:  DEPUTY BRIAN MARKLEY

COMMANDER:  SGT CLIFTON COLEMAN

LOCATION: STATE ROAD 14 / VISTA DEL MONTE, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED: BERTHA M. BOLING, 56 YOA FEMALE

CHARGES:  AGGRAVATED DWI / ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC

On this date Deputy York observed vehicle turning onto State Road #14 and then the vehicle went off of the roadway, then it was driven on the shoulder of the roadway almost to the Alsups.  Deputy stopped vehicle and made contact with the driver, listed above.  Deputy called for a DWI Officer to come to the location due to the driver appeared to be intoxicated.  Deputy Markley arrived and took over investigation.  Suspect was taken into custody for being intoxicated.  Suspect refused breath test and was chagered with aggravated DWI at that point.  Suspect was taken to the Adult Detention Center and booked on above listed charges.

Case# 0209000781 Selling or Giving Alcoholic Beverages to Minors

Suspect:  Rita Bhakta, 44, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Selling or Giving Alcoholic Beverages to Minore, Alcohol Servers Permit

               Required

On 1-24-2009 at 8:22 PM, the suspect, while in her capacity as a sales clerk at the location did sell a six pack of beer to male who is under the age of twenty one.  This was after the suspect had checked the minor's identification card.  It was also revealed that the suspect does not possess a New Mexico alcohol server's permit.

Suspect:  Pemba Sherpa, 38, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Selling or Giving Alcoholic Beverages to Minors

On 1-24-2009 at 5:36 PM, the suspect while in his capacity as a sales clerk at the location, did sell a six pack of beer to a male who is under the age of twenty-one.  This was after the suspect checked the minor's identification card.

Suspect: Hector Ahumada  Age: 44   Santa Fe

Ahumada was arrested after deputies responded to a domestic dispute and determined that he had assaulted a household member and tore the telephone from the wall during a 911 call for help.

Suspect: Tamara Barela  Age: 19  Albq.

Barela was apprehended by undercover deputies after shoplifting several ladies purses/wallets with a value of $522.00.

Victim/property manager reports recently vacated apartment due to eviction was seriously damaged inside.  Carpet,holes smashed in walls, spray paint etc. Case is under investigation.
