2021000624 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property / 2-1-21

Location: Spur trailhead located at Avenida Del Sur and Richards Ave.

The victim reported on 2-1-21 between the hours of 2:00pm and 2:50pm someone broke into their vehicle while it was parked at the trailhead.  The suspect(s) broke a window and stole the victim's purse containing several items.   

2021000610/Unattended Death/01-31-2021

Location: Gould Lane, Santa Fe, NM

Deceased: 18 YOM

On Sunday, January 31st, 2021, deputies responded to the above location for a report of a not conscious and not breathing male. Upon arrival, it was found that the individual had passed away. OMI was summoned to the location and no signs of foul play were discovered.

2021000628 / Burglary / Criminal Damage to Property / 2-1-21

Location: Residence on Redondo Court, Eldorado area

The victim reported on 2-1-21 between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm someone broke a bathroom window and entered their home.  The suspect(s) rummaged through some drawers but did not steal anything that the victim is aware of at this time.   

2021000590 / Death Investigation / 1-30-21

Location: Residence on Rough Road, Edgewood N.M.

Deceased: 88-year-old male from Edgewood N.M.

On 1-30-21 at about 5:30pm an 88-year-old male passed away in his residence, while in the presence of family members.  The investigation revealed no signs of foul play and his passing appears to be from natural causes.  . 

2021000577/Aggravated DWI/1-29-2021

Location: Los Pinos Road

Suspect: Joaquin Lucero / 39yom / Santa Fe , NM

On Friday, January 29, 2021 at 4:41pm the above male crashed his vehicle and fled the scene.When deputies arrived on scene the male attempted to flee from them and he was detained. Male showed signs of impairment and refused standardized field sobriety tests. Suspect was charged accordingly.

Fraud/ 2021000576/1-29-2021

Location: Sunrise Road/Los Pinos

Suspect: Unknown

Victim indicated that she received a call from someone saying they were the fraud department. They told the female to avoid penalties she would have to purchase 1,300 dollars worth of gift cards. The victim did so and gave the caller the card numbers and pins. Case is under investigation.  

 

 

2021000580/Narcotics Violation/1-29-2021

Location: 35 Camino Justicia (Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center)

Suspect: Manuel Torres / 39yom / Santa Fe, NM

 

Deputies were dispatch to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to Correctional Officers finding narcotics on the above male. Suspect admitted that the narcotics were his and he was rebooked into jail.

Location: Entrada De Ortiz/Plaza Del Cerro

On Friday, January 29, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a not conscious and not breathing 37 year old male. Upon arrival no signs of life were observed and OMI responded to the scene. No signs of foul play were observed. This case remains under investigation.

Suspect: Alexander Rue / 31yom / Ruidoso, NM

Suspect was observed committing a traffic violation. Suspect had a revoked driver's license with an arrest clause. Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

2021000500, Auto burglary/criminal damage to property/larceny,1-27-2021

location: W. Gutierrez St. Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Pending

Deputies responded to above location in reference to an automobile burglary. Victim reported between 6:15pm on 1-26-2021 and 9:30am on 1-27-2021, unknown suspects gained forced entry through the driver's side door and stole documents from inside the vehicle. Case is under investigation.
