On 11/15/08 at 0100hrs/am , a 20 yr old male was leaving a party after a fight broke out between two unknown males. One of the males pulled out a handgun and fired at least 5 times. One of the stray bullets struck the victim's left ankle. Victim was taken to the ER, by friends. Victims ankle/bone was broken. Victim/witnesses did not know the suspect. Investigation continues.

Deputies responded to a medical call on Margarita Ville Rd. along with Paramedics. Elderly male with chronic medical history was found deceased by family members. No foul play is expected.

Arrested: Catherine Harber 56yoa
On the above date, officer responded to a motor vehicle crash at the above location. Upon making contact with the defendant, she displayed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking prior to the crash. The defendant was transported to the hospital and was later released. She was then transported to the adult detention center and booked accordingly. Alcohol levels are pending the blood draw results.

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Open Container
A La Cienega Volunteer Fireman was traveling on the roadway, when the above named defendant nearly struck his vehicle. The defendant also nearly struck a second vehicle and was followed by the fireman. Deputies responded to a residence, where the suspect was followed. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Victim reported that at approximately 11:15 am (11-13-08) he forgot his wallet on the counter near the register at the above establishment. He advised that when he returned a short time later to retrieve the wallet, it was gone. Accroding to the victim the wallet contained money, misc. credit cards and ID cards. No witnesses or suspects at this time.

the defendant was involved in a motor vehicle crash and left the scene. Upon locating the defendant, she was found to be impaired and was arrested. The defendant had a .09 and .08 BrAC. The defendant did not have a valid driver's license, had an open container of beer and a small amount of suspected marijuana. She was transported and booked at the adult detention center.

Charge: Disorderly Conduct
Deputies responded to a report of an intoxicated male arguing with neighbors. Contact was made with the suspect, who became loud and abusive towards officers. The suspect was then arrested for disorderly conduct. He was booked accordingly.

Deputies responded to a report of a child abuse that occurred at above location. Deputies learned that the suspect became angry with his child and picked her up with both hands and threw her to the floor. Visible injury was observed to the child. The suspect could not be located at the time of the report. The case is under investigation.

Stolen: 42" TV, Toshiba 24" TV, Memorex Stereo and Misc CDs
The victim reported that she left this morning at 8:00 AM and returned at 7:00 PM to find her front door open and lights in her bedroom on. A search of the residence revealed that above listed items were stolen.
