Victim reported that on this date between the times of 11:45 and 11:50am and unknown male subject stole $1000.00 in cash from the victim while being shown some heavy items he was being contracted to move. The victim could only described the suspect as a 40 to 45 year old Mexican male wearing blue jeans, T-Shirt and a hat. The victim contracted the suspect while walking home from walmart.

On the above date, the above named officer conducted a traffic stop on the defendant at the above location for failure to maintain his lane of traffic. The defendant displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. The defendant refused to provide a breath sample and was transported to the adult detention facility.

The defendant displayed wigns of impairment and refused to submit a breath sample. He was arrested and transported to the adult detention facility.

On the above date Ronnie Romero was found deceased in his holding cell at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. The cause of death is still under investigation.

On 9/20/08 Victim stated that she was at the Allsup's when her ex-boyfriend showed up and began arguing with her. Victim stated that suspect then grabbed her by her hair and that her cousin tried to defend her at that time suspect struck cousin on the left side of her ear ripping off the earring. Victim stated that her current boyfriend showed up in which they left and suspect began following them trying to run them off the road. Suspect caused vehicle to stop and suspect pulled out an ax and struck victim's boyfriend's car on the right side windshield. Victim and witnesses felt threatened that suspect would hurt them with the ax so they fled the area looking for police. Suspect was not located. An emergency restraining order was authorized by a District Court Judge.
