Sometime between 5:00pm on 3/4/08 and 1:43pm on 3/5/08 someone broke into some stables at Ranchos de Canoncitos and stole 4 saddles ($2,820 value). The suspect(s) broke a lock one of the stable doors and gained entry. No suspects at this time.

Suspect: Matthew Martinez 34 yr old male

Suspect was arrested at his residence after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. Suspect made threats to his wife while armed with an object. Suspect was booked without incident.

Victim was out of town from 1/29/08 to 3/5/08 and found front door kicked in. In looking through residence victim found items missing: Various swords, drum, silver, various rocks. Value of items pending.

On 10/19/07 the owner of Birchcreek Heath & Weightloss Retreat in New York brought in a group of people to the resort and paid with a check ($15,000). The check was returned for insufficent funds.

Victim reported that while hiking unknown persons broke window to vehicle and stole items: laptop, purse w/cash, credit cards, checkbook, cell phone, drivers license ($2000 value).

Unknown person(s) entered victims home rummaged through cabinets, knocked holes in several walls and doors. Suspect(s) also placed a small bowl w/gas inside and placed in master closet. Victim suspects disgruntled family member in OK due to current CYFD case.

Suspect: Merida Redstar-Miller 29 yr old female

Suspect was arrested after she drove in the parking area of the Shell Gas Station. Suspect exited her vehicle and approached deputies asking for directions. While speaking with suspect she displayed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. She submitted to a Standard Field Sobriety Test but refused to chemical testing to determine BAC.

0208001834 Aggravated DWI / Reckless Driving / No Ins. 03/04/08

Suspect: Wilfredo Calmona-Martinez 20 yr old male

The driver was involved in a single vehicle collision. The driver was found to be intoxicated and had a BAC of .23 .22. No insurance or drivers license.

0208001802 Burglary / Criminal Damages to Property 03/03/08

Location: Agua Fria / Santa Fe

Victim stated that he arrived home to notice front door slightly open. Upon entering he found several holes in the walls, damage to bed and cabinets. The only item found to be missing at the time was an XBox 360 console ($150 value). The victim suspects a former roomate. Suspect was not located for questioning.

Victim reported that he allowed a male subject test drive the vehicle (1994 Ford Escort) and never returned. Victim stated the he was not the registered owner of the vehicle so a BOLO was issued. Case pending.
