0208002060/Criminal Damage to Property/Shooting at a Dwelling from a Motor Vehicle

On March 11, 2008 at about 11:30 PM a house under construction on Camino Sabanero was shot at with a BB gun causing damage to six windows.  The damage was estimated at $2900.00.  A witness reported seeing 3-4 males in a  red pontiac grand prix fire at the house and leave the area.  No further information regarding the suspects was available as of report time.

0208002062/Criminal Damage to Property

Location of Incident: McDonalds Restaurant/4011 Calle Lucia, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Suspects: unknown

On March 11, 2008 at about 10:17 PM unknown person(s) damaged three double pane safety glass windows, (1-6x6 ft & 2-6x8 ft.) on the north end of the restaurant with what is believed to be a BB gun or pellet gun.  The windows were valued at $11,400.00.  There are no suspects as of report time.

On March 11, 2008 at about 10:15 PM unknown persons damaged a window at a residence on Camino Vista Aurora with what is believed to be a BB gun or Pellet gun.  The window had an estimated value of $1000-$2000.  There are no suspects as of report time.

The victim reported that someone kicked her front door in and went through her residence. Nothing appeared to have been stolen at this time.

Suspect: 20 yoa male, Name on file

The victim reported having problems with a neighbor a week ago and wanted to document that his neighbor brandished a handgun in a threatening manner following a short verbal altercation across the street from one another. The suspect was contacted and denied ever brandishing a weapon and no weapon was located as a part of the investigation.

On the above date the victim reported that an unknown person stole two personal checks from his check book and forged his name to them. The amount of the checks was for $100.00.

On the above date the suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that the suspect was under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Suspect:  John Lucero, age 32, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Bench warrant out of Magistrate Court in De Baca County charging failure to appear and a second warrant out of Municipal Court  in Santa Fe charging failure to appear

Suspect #2:  Michelle Contreras, age 34, Santa Fe, NM

Charged: Disorderly conduct, Resisting or obstructing an officer

Suspect#3:  Robert Contreras, age 33, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Bench warrant out of Santa Fe Magistrate Court charging failure to pay fines and failure to report to alcohol treatment

On 3/11/08, deputy observed suspect run a red at Richard's Avenue and Governor Miles Road.  Suspect was found to have 2 bench warrants out of DeBaca County and Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to appear.  Suspect was then arrested, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.  Suspect #2 was in the vehicle and was told  to calm dowm and she continued to yell profanities and be disruptive.  Upon trying to restrain suspect #2 she pulled away from deputies.  Suspect #3 was also run through the computere and was found to have an active warrant out of Magistrate Court in Santa Fe for failure to pay fines and failure to report to Alcohol treatment.
