Victim reported that sometime between 3-16-08 and 3-17-08, an unknown person unlawfully entered the Tesuque Village Market and stole $800.00 from the manager's office.  No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

Location: Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM

16 year old victim reported that he was on his way to school when he encountered an unknown male laying in the bushes, on the side of the roadway.  He went to render aid and the suspect grabbed the victim and held a knife to his throat.  The victim was able to get away and notified authorities.  A search of the suspect throughout the area was conducted but he was not located.

Victim reported that sometime between 7:00pm on 3/13/08 and 7:30am on 3/14/08, someone entered his construction shop at the above location and stole several construction tools and equipment.  The suspects and witnesses are unknown at this time.

Victim reports someone stole his dirt motorcycle between 3/13/08 at about 7:00pm adn 3/14/08 at about 6:30am from his neighbor/friend's residence.  No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.  The motorcycle was entered into NCIC.

Location: Interstate 25, mm271, Santa Fe

Arrested: Donald Peedin - age 58, Deming, NM

On 3/14/08, at about 12:00pm, the above deputy was investigating a motor vehicle crash at the above location.  One of the drivers showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to driving.  He was subsequently placed under arrest and charged.  He was booked into the adult detention center accordingly.

Arrested: James Anaya - age 34, Santa Fe, NM

Above subject filed a stolen vehicle report with our department, at which point he was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Santa Fe Municipal Court.  He was subsequently placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Christopher Sillas - age 22, Santa Fe, NM

Above subject was already encarcerated at the jail and was found to have a bench warrant out of Taos County.  He was served with the warrant and rebooked into ADC.

Sometime between 3/12/08, at about 10:00am and 3/15/08, at about 10:00am, someone forced entry into a shed at the above location and stole a welder.  Suspects and witnesses are unknown at this time.

Case#: 0208002213 & 0208002218/ Service of Documents/ Date: 03/16/08 & 03/17/08

Location of arrest:  2830 Dail Circle, Santa Fe, NM (off of Rufina)

Suspect:  Ivan Martinez, age 32, Hernandez, NM

Charged:  Bench warrant out of Santa Fe Municipal Court charging failure to appear, Bench warrant out of Espanola Municipal Court charging failure to appear

On 3/16/08 deputies were responding to a suspicious activity at above location.  Suspect was found hiding outside of the residence.  Suspect had a warrant out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to appear.  He was arrested, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  It was later found out that a second warrant out of Espanola Municipal Court was located and served on the suspect for failure to appear.

Location of arrest:  3195 Jemez Road, Santa Fe, NM (off Airport Road)

Suspect:  Justin Garcia, age 21, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Careless Driving

On 3/17/08 driver was observed running a flashing red light at Airport Road and Calle Atajo.  Driver was stopped at above location.  Driver was found to be impaired and was placed under arrest. Driver was read the NM Implied Consent Act and agreed to be tested.  Driver was transported to St. Vincent Hospital for medical clearance.  Driver provided a blood sample.  Driver was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center
