0208002393 Bring Contraband into place of Imprionment 3/22/08

Location:  Santa Fe County Detention  Arrested: Seth Valdez  DOB: 11/4/83

Above susbject was arrested over the weekend by this Agency.  After being booked he was found to have several small plastic balloons with suspected heroin at the Detention facility.

On 3/24/08 unknown suspects entered the above address by forcing the front door open.  Once inside suspect took a TV, jewelry, playstation games and other items.  Suspects ransacked the home.  Suspects left through same door way.  Serial number was provided for TV and was entered into NCIC.  Estimated value of items taken is $497.00.

Location of arrest:  Airport Road & Calle Atajo, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Jorge Linares, age 34, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Speeding, No Insurance, Expired Registration

On 3/24/08 at about 0032 hours, vehicle was observed travelling eastbound on Airport Road at the intersection of Calle Atajo at 62 mph in a posted 40 mph zone.  Upon conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle, the driver displayed several signs of impairment.  Suspect submitted to SFST in which signs of impairment were displayed.  Suspect was taken into custody and submitted to a breath test to determine Brac which were .20, .20.  Suspect could not provide proof of insurance and registration was expired.  Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Case#: 0208002409/ DWI, Careless Driving, Resisting or Evading Arrest/ Date: 03/22/08

Location of arrest:  US 84-285 & SR 502, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque)

Suspect:  Tina Casaus-Gonzales, age 49, Espanola, NM

Charged:  DWI, Careless Driving, Resisting or Evading Arrest

On 3/22/08, Driver was driving without her lights on while travelling northbound on US 84/285.  Driver was found to be intoxicated and had a Brac of .12, .12.  Driver refused to stop when signaled to do so.  Driver was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect:  Victor Carrillo-Guerrero, age 28, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Careless Driving, No Driver's License, No Insurance, Expired Registration

On 3/23/08 driver nearly struck a median just east of Country Club Drive and Airport Road.  Driver was found to be intoxicated and had signs of impairment.  Suspect was given SFST's and displayed signs of impairment.  A PBT test was administered and results were .12.  Driver was arrested and refused to submit to a breath test.  Driver had no driver's license, no insurance and vehicle registration was expired.  He was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Charges: pending

between 3:00pm on 3-21-08 and today at 2:00pm, persons forced entry into a vacant house and took several appliances to include a refrigerator, washer and dryer (Bosch Brand) stainless steel. Evidence was located on the scene and the case is under investigation.

Victim states she was home and she heard a loud noise from the far side of her residence.  She suspected someone was breaking in and she yelled out.  She later checked the door and found signs of forced entry.  The victim never saw the suspect and assumes the suspect fled when she yelled out.

Location: US 84/285 milepost 176    Tesuque

Suspect: Maria Campos    Age: 53   Santa Fe

Maria Campos was arrested for refusing to bring her vehicle to a stop after Deputy Pena attempted to perform a traffic stop with her for traffic lane violation on US 84/285 near Tesuque.  Campos led Deputy Pena for several miles until a Spike Strip was deployed by Tesuque Tribal Police. Campos was not impaired.

Suspect: Luis Salas-Morales    Age: 21  Santa Fe

Luis Salas-Morales was arrested for DWI after being stopped fpr failing to maintain lane while traveling Northbound on US 84/285 near Tesuque and was found to be impaired.  Salas-Morales had a BAC of .08 or greater.

0208-2404/ Criminal Damage to property/ 3-22-08

SuspecT: Pending

Charges: Pending

Suspect(s) shot a BB or pellet gun at two large double pane windows at the McDonald's causing an estimated $12,000.00 worth of damage. Case is under investigation.
