The above named defendant was arrested following a traffic stop that resulted in the discovery of 3 ounces of Marijuana and $135.00 in cash hidden inside the trunk of his vehicle. The suspect admitted that he was selling in order to pay his rent.

Charged: Driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license
On 3/25/08, deputies responded to a 911 call on Ocate Road. Upon arrival deputies made contact with victim who stated that her ex-husband had gone to her residence and threw paint on her vehicle and her boyfriend's vehicle. No damage was done due to paint being washed off. Deputies located suspect on Camino Vista Aurora in front of the residence of 1087. He was driving his tan in color pickup. A NM driver license inquiry was done and found that suspect had a suspended/revoked driver's license. Suspect was arrested, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect: Salamon Martinez, age 24, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Reckless driving, Driver must be licensed, Display of registration, No Insurance
On 3/24/08, deputies responded to a reckless driver in which the vehicle was going in excess of 100mph on I-25 and also running vehicles off the road. A witness followed the vehicle in which it was one the vehicles that was ran off the road. The vehicle was stopped at the above location and the suspect stated that he was taking his daughter to the hospital. Medics arrived on scene to check the 5 year old and stated that she was fine. Child was turned over to her biological father who was a passenger in the vehicle and stated his daughter was fine. Suspect was then placed under arrest for reckless driving. He did not have a driver's license and insurance for the vehicle. The temporary tag had already expired. Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Victim left his home at about 1:30pm and returned home about 7:30pm, at which time he noticed a lock on his shed was cut. Person(s) entered his shed and took two small tool boxes . The suspect(s) also took four 17" Chrome rims from outside the shed.
