Driver was stopped after commiting a traffic offense.  deputy obsereved several signs of impairment.  Driver was arrested for DWI.  Driver submitted to a breath test that yielded a .15% BAC.

Driver was stopped after commiting a traffic offense.  Deputy observed several cues of impairment.  driver was arrested.  A breath test rendered results of .13% BAC.

Suspect:  Juan Gaytan, age 31, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Bench warrant charging Failure to appear

Suspect was contacted after he attemp[ted leaving his home while intoxicated.  Law enforcement was called by girlfriend.  Upon contacting suspect he was found to have an active warrant out of Magistrate Court for failure to appear.  Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location:  Santa Fe County Road 113A, Santa Fe, NM (Nambe)

Victim:  white male, 82 years old

Victim was discovered by wife gasping for air.  The deceased suffered with diabetes, high blood pressure and was reported just not feeling well.  No signs of foul play was observed by medical personnel, law enforcement or OMI.  OMI arrived and took over scene.

Location: Agua Fria Road, near Siler Road

Stolen Vehicle: 1999 Dodge Avenger, Tan in color, bearing NM Temp tag

Victim was in his vehicle traveling along Agua Fria when a unidentified subject in a white unknown type vehicle pulled behind him.  The suspect vehicle was flashing there lights.  Victim pulled off raod and an unidientified suspect confronted him armed with a hammer.  The suspect male took the victims vehicle with another male following him in the suspect vehicle.  Suspect information is pending further investigation.

Location: Kwahe Ridge Road Deceased: Dr. John Smoker DOB: 4/29/30

Dr. Smoker passed away at his home after a long fight with pulmonary fibrosis.  The death appeared to be of natural causes from the above illness.  There was no signs of foul play.
