Charges: Child Abuse and interference with Communications

The suspect began arguing with his girlfriend. During this time suspect became angry and threw a telephone at his girlfriend while she was holding thier 2 year old daughter, stricking the child in the face, causing minor injuries. When the girlfriend attempted to call 911, the suspect hung up the phone. Suspect was arrested.

Sometime between 11-20-07 and the above date someone entered a utility shed by prying open the door. Once inside the suspect(s) took several spray paint cans. They then used the cans to spray graffiti on the property. Evidence was collected and the case is under investigation.

Juvenile female went to school on November 20, 2007 but did not return to her foster parents home. Female called and told foster parent that she was at a friends house. The femal is also listed as a runaway from two other foste rparents. One in Taos and one in Albuquerque.

A male subject arrived at St. Vincent Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg at about 2:00am. The wound was non life threatening. Victim stated that he was shot by a relative during an argument in the La Cienga area. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Ilyas Abdul-Azaiz    age 31

Charges: Recieving transferring stolen property.

While following up on a burglary in the area of west Alameda, information was gained about a suspect possibly in possession of stolen property. A traffic stop was done on the described vehicle, at which time the suspect was located with a large amount of clothing with price tags and securtiy ink tags. It was determined that the property was from Sears Department Store. The items were valued at $1097.44. The suspect was arrested and charged.

Victim reported that she had her purse stolen out of a friends vehicle while it was parked out side the above location. Victim did not realize that the purse was missing until the next day. The purse and its contents ane valued at $3650.00

Victim reported that sometime between 9:00pm on November 18, 2007 and 07:45am unknown suspects entered the victims vehicle by shatering a drivers side window. Once inside the suspects removed a camera and a CD player Valued at $200.00

Suspect was observed traveling southbound on Interstate 25 at mile post#290 and was clocked on radar at 120mph in a 75mph Zone. suspect went through the construction area and continued southbound and was stopped at milepost 278. suspect was arested on above charges and booked into the Santa fe county detention Center.

Suspect: 18 year old male, Santa Fe, NM

The victim's residence is usually unoccupied.  The victim went to check on the residence on 11/19/07 and found the bedroom window broken and signs of someone drinking and smoking inside the residence.  One suspect has been identified.  No property was stolen from inside.
