On Friday, July 27, 2018 at approximately 4:24pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a larceny. It was learned that an unknown suspect(s) removed an IPhone 7S Plus and some cash from his locker. Investigation is ongoing.

Case #0218012301, Driving While License Revoked

Location: Interstate 25 Mile Marker 301, Glorieta, NM

Vehicle: 2008 white Jeep Cherokee

Suspect: Deanna Martinez, 26, Las Vegas, NM

Charges: Driving While License Revoked, Child Passenger Restraint

On Friday, July 27, 2018 at approximately 5:30pm, a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle since it had been given out over as a reckless driver. Contact was made with the driver, the suspect, and a six year old child was in the vehicle improperly restrained. Suspect was ran through N.C.I.C. and returned with a revoked driver's license with the arrest clause attached. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was not seized.

Case #0218012271, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Heroin

Location: La Puebla Road, Espanola, NM

Vehicle: 2005 Tan Chevy Tahoe

Suspect: Mariah Martinez, 27, Chimayo, NM

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Heroin; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Driving While License Revoked

On Friday, July 27, 2018 at approximately 1:15pm, Deputy observed the vehicle traveling with darker than authorized tint. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, the suspect. Suspect was run through N.C.I.C. and returned with a revoked driver's license with the arrest clause attached. Suspect was placed under arrest and was found in possession of Heroin and a glass pipe used to smoke other controlled substances. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was not seized.

Arrested: Julian Contreras      Age: 32      Espanola,NM

Contreras was arrested at the listed location after deputies responded for a report of a possible domestic dispute. Contreras was found to have an active warrant and was arrested without incident.
