Victim reported unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into her vehicle thru an unlocked door and stole the above mentioned items. Case is under investigation.

Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. Suspect was found to have a warrant for failure to appear in Santa Fe Municipal Court . Suspect was booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

On 5-17-18 the victim reported someone used their identity to open a Verizon account.  The account is now in collections for the amount of $1,396.00

Location: Residence on Calle Agua Clara (Rancho Viejo area)

Stolen: purse with misc. contents

The victim reported between 5/16/18 after 9:15pm and 5/17/18 before 7:15am someone broke a window on their vehicle and stole a purse from within.  Later the victim realized the suspect used their debit card at 2 businesses in Santa Fe.

Charges: Santa Fe Magistrate Court Warrant- (Original Charge: Aggravated Fleeing, Speeding, Careless Driving, No Insurance, Expired Registration, Suspended Drivers License, Resisting Evading an Officer.

Arrested: Ivan Vigil age: 24

On 05/16/18 the above individual was contacted at his residence and taken into custody on the above warrant. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

On 05/16/18 a traffic stop was conducted an a vehicle driven by the above subject. Upon checking his drivers license, an active bench warrant for his arrest was found. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.

On Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at approximately 6:21pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. An unidentified suspect(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking a window and removed a purse containing jewelry, cash, a cell phone, and identification. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspect: Brandon Nieto

Deputies received a report of a male who brandished a firearm at the victim during a road rage incident.  Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.  Driver admitted to brandishing a BB gun at the victim during the incident.  Driver's driving privileges were also confirmed to be revoked with the arrest clause.  Vehicle was not seized due to the stop occurring in the city limits.
