Case#:0218003806, Bringing Contraband into Places of Imprisonment, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3/13/18

Deputy Handling: V. Barnett

Person Arrested: Carlos Alonso-Villa ,26 year old male subject

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the adult detention center in reference to a narcotics violation.  Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and the above listed male subject was found to be in possession of narcotics.  The male subject was charged and re-booked without incident.

Victim: Male, 56, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On Monday, March 12, 2018 at approximately 3:44pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a Residential Burglary. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence by damaging a window and removed a diamond ring from within the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Victim: Female, 46, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Male, Unknown Age, Atlanta, GA

On Monday, March 12, 2018 at approximately 3:31pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to Unlawful Use of a Check. The victim received a check for items she was selling on Craig's list. The check was a fake check and the suspect advised the victim to send the extra money back. Victim was not out of any money or property.

Case #0218003751, Aggravated DWI

Assigned Deputy: Johnathen War

Commander Entering: Cpl. K. Whyte

Location: Cities of Gold Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Jeanine Brown, 40, Ranchos De Toas, NM

Vehicle: 2001 Silver Ford F150

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Driving While License Revoked, Failure to Yield

On Monday, March 12, 2018 at approximately 3:52pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to the vehicle having been stopped by Pojoaque Tribal Police Department and the driver, who was non-native, showing signs of intoxication. Vehicle was stopped for failure to yield while approaching intersections. Driver displayed signs of impairment and refused to submit to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Driver was placed under arrest and read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and refused to submit to a breath test. Driver was also driving the vehicle on a revoked driver's license. Driver was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5.

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Bernie Martinez, 42, Santa Fe, NM

On Monday, March 12, 2018, at approximately 1:30pm, Deputy responded to location to serve an outstanding arrest warrant on the suspect. The original charges on the warrant were for DWI and Driving While License is Revoked. Suspect was arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

0218003712/ Battery Against a Household Member/ 03-11-18

Deputy Assigned: J. Modgling

Commander Entering: Sgt. J. Rodriguez

Location: Packer Road - Edgewood NM

Arrested: Oscar Davis age: 68

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member

On March 11, 2018 deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival the Victim stated the Suspect began to argue with her. The Victim stated she left to another room to call her brother and the Suspect smacked her hand and took the phone away from her. The Victim told me she and the Suspect argued for a few more minutes and the incident ended. The Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Case #0218003709, Aggravated DWI

Location: Interstate 25 Mile Marker 281, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Kevin Quam, 32, Albuquerque, NM

Vehicle: 2017 silver Hyundai Accent

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Speeding

On Sunday, March 11, 2018 at approximately 9:04pm, Deputy observed the vehicle traveling at a speed above the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, the suspect. Suspect shows signs of impairment and the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered. Suspect displayed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DWI. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to a breath test. The results of the test were double the legal limit or higher. The vehicle was towed from the scene and taken to the tow company's lot. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

0218003698 / Possession of a Controlled Substance / 3-11-18

Deputy Assigned: A. Miranda

Commander Entering: Corporal David

Location: Santa Fe County Jail

Suspect: Steven Montoya

Deputies were dispatched to the Santa Fe County Jail in reference to an inmate being found with narcotics.  Upon arrival it was determined the listed suspect, a current inmate at the jail was found in possession of heroin and methamphetamine.  Suspect was rebooked accordingly.

Suspect: Christine Salazar, 34, Santa Fe, NM

On Saturday, March 10, at approximately 5:10pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to the suspect having outstanding arrest warrants. It was confirmed through N.C.I.C. that the suspect had two outstanding arrest warrants. The warrants for the original charges of Abandonment of a Child, Child Abuse, Aggravated DWI, and Driving While License is Revoked. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

0218002668-Death Invistigation-03/10/18

Commander Entering: Sgt. T. Benavidez

Location: Tusa Drive

Victim: 57 years of age

Deputies were dispatched to the above area for an unattended death. Family members did not hear from victim in several days. No foul play suspected.
