On 03-17-19 Deputies responded to a report of an Aggravated Assault in progress. It was reported the above suspect was discharging a firearm into the ground following an altercation. Suspect was observed leaving the area in a gray in color Camry. A traffic stop was attempted and the suspect fled in the vehicle. The suspect was later located at a residence on Pueblito Road. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody.

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Speeding 72mph in a 45mph zone
On 03-16-18 Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford Escape after observing the vehicle speeding on US 84/285. Upon making contact with the driver, it was observed he was under the influence of intoxicating liquor and drugs. The driver was placed under arrest and submitted to chemical testing. The driver blew a .16 BrAC/ .16 BrAC. He was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Charges; Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member, Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member
On Saturday, March 17, 2018 at approximately 7:31pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Suspect and victim, who are boyfriend and girlfriend, got into a verbal argument. During the argument the suspect broke a glass. While the victim was cleaning up the glass, the suspect took a piece of the glass and cut the victim's arm. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Charges: Theft of Identity by Electronic Fraud, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card
On Saturday, March 17, 2018 at approximately 3:03pm, Deputy spoke with the victim, who advised that on Friday, March 16, 2018, the victim used his credit card to purchase gas at a gas pump. Shortly after getting gas, he was notified that the card was used at another location in the state to purchase items. Further investigation revealed that a card skimmer had been used to obtain credit card information at the gas pump. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic dispute. During the investigation, it was learned that an argument occurred, which led the suspect throwing the victim on the bed and held her down. Victim stated that while being held down that she scratched the suspect in self defense to free herself from him. Victim sustained injuries to her right wrist and forearm. It was determined the suspect was the aggressor. Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Suspect: Douglas Miera – 78 - Stanley, NM
Charges: Battery against a Household Member – Assault against a Household Member
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a male out of control, threatening to burn the house down with five children at the residence. Upon arrival, suspect was detained by deputies. Victim stated suspect was threatening to burn the house down and attempting to hit their grandchildren. Victim stated she stood between their grandchildren and the suspect. Suspect began shoving the victim aside trying to get to the children to choke them. Victim stated during the altercation the suspect was holding a lighter and broke it against the victim's hand.
Suspect stated he got angry because the oldest grandchild took a phone. Suspect stated he threatened them by telling them he was going to burn the house down unless he got the phone back.
Children were released to their mother. CYFD was notified and a report was initiated.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Charges: DWI – Reckless Driving – Possession of Controlled Substance (Morphine)
Deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash. The suspect and her vehicle were located and she showed signs of impairment. The Suspect consented to a blood draw. During a search of her vehicle prior to impoundment several pills and a green leafy substance were located in her purse.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).
