Case #0218004521, Unattended Death

Deceased: Male, 81, Santa Fe, NM

On Sunday, March 25, 2018 at approximately 3:39pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a male who was unconscious and not breathing. Medics also responded to the scene. Life saving procedures were administered and were unsuccessful. The Office of the Medical Investigator responded to the scene. There were no signs of foul play and the cause of death appeared to be natural.

Stolen: Bicycles

Several victims reported their bicycles being stolen from their RV sites at the listed location overnight.  Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Santos Trujillo

Suspect was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and cocaine while at the casino.  Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Suspect is currently incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Jail and was served with an active arrest warrant for failure to comply on original charges of Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Battery.  Suspect was rebooked accordingly.

Suspect was contacted on a traffic stop after being called in as a reckless driver.  Suspect was found to have an active arrest warrant for auto burglary.  Suspect was cited, arrested and booked accordingly.

Location: Sombrillo Lane - (Sombrillo- Northern Santa Fe County)

Arrested: Jeramy Gonzales age: 25

Charges: Battery Against a household Member

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a Domestic Dispute. During the investigation it was learned the above individual battered a family member. The above individual was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly.

 

Case #0218004482, Battery On a Household Member

Location: Calle Ponciano, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 23, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Gabriel Montoya II, 24, Santa Fe, NM

On Saturday, March 24, 2018 at approximately 8:21pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. The victim and suspect were involved in a verbal argument. During the argument the suspect battered the victim. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

0218004459-Child Abuse-Aggravated Assault Against a household member-Aggravated Assault -03/24/18

Deputy Assigned: G. Baca

Victims: 37 year old female and 60 year old male

Suspect: Alejardo Martinez(38)

At approximately 10:00am the suspect and victim met at a park for lunch and began a verbal argument. The victim began walking home while being followed by the suspect in his truck. Upon arrival at the victims' residence the victim went to the house and was followed by the suspect on foot. The victims' father came out and began arguing with the suspect. The suspect went to his truck and pulled a black handgun out. He then pointed it at them while the victim was holding her 3 year old child and said he wanted his stuff from the residence. The father went in to his house and brought out his own handgun. The suspect became scared and fled in his truck. The suspect went around the block to where he was located by deputies. A high risk stop was performed and the suspect was detained pending investigation.

 

The suspect was arrested for above listed charges and booked into ADC accordingly.

0218004440 – Battery against a Household Member – 03-24-18

 Suspect: Anthony Garcia – 24 - Albuquerque, NM

Charges: Battery against a Household Member

The suspect initially reported to deputies that his girlfriend had attacked him when he returned to their hotel room from the bar in the casino area.

Upon contact with the victim she stated that the suspect returned to their room and began to argue with her while she was lying down on the bed.  The victim said that the suspect then head butted her on the nose and then he bid her on the leg near her left knee, on the thigh.  The victim said she began to strike and scratch the suspect to stop him biting her.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Suspect: Neal Aragon

Suspect was contacted during a traffic stop after a reckless driver check.  During contact it was found the suspect's driver's license was currently revoked.  Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.  The vehicle was seized per Santa Fe County Ordinance.
