0218004657 – Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle – 03-27-18

Location: NM-14 & San Marcos Loop

 Suspect:  Hispanic male, approximately 6’ tall, wearing a brown jacket and beanie. Suspect had chipped front tooth. Possibly driving a dark Dodge Charger.

De[uty was dispatched in reference to unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival made contact with the victim who stated that he had pulled over because his truck was making an odd noise. While looking under the hood a vehicle pulled up behind his truck. The suspect then walked up and asked if he was ok. The suspect then punched the victim twice in the face, got into the truck and fled south on NM 14. Deputies searched the area for the truck but were unable to locate it. The victim stated the vehicle that pulled up behind his truck was possibly a dark in color Dodge Charger.

 Vehicle Taken: 2004 -White - Ford - F150 - NM Reg: 564RYX - Spare tire on right front, tinted windows and reflectors on tailgate

Arrestee: Rene Lobos   Age:26

On March 27, 2018 Deputies served a warrant on Rene while he was incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Jail.  The warrant was for a failure to appear on an original charge of aggravated battery. Devin was rebooked accordingly.

Stolen: 32 inch flat screen f television, DVD player, Coins, movie projector (Total $1137.00)

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the residence through a bedroom window and stole the above mentioned items. Case is under investigation.

Charge: RIo Arriba Magistrate Court Warrant

On 03-26-18 the defendant was stopped by Pojoaque Tribal PD for a traffic violation. During the stop it was learned the defendant had an outstanding warrant for Failing to Appear at Court. The warrant was stemming from a previous traffic violation. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.

On Monday, March 26, 2018 at approximately 4:18pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Suspect was found in possession of Suboxone. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
