Case #0218005167, Residential Burglary

Location: Paseo Encantado NE, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 64, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Residential Burglary, Larceny, Theft of a Credit Card, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

On Thursday, April 5, 2018 at approximately 5:12pm, deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unidentified suspect(s) unlawfully entered the residence and removed a laptop computer, credit cards, cash, jewelry, keys, carving tools, and a ceramic pot. The credit cards were used to make purchases at different locations. Investigation is ongoing.

Case #0218005165, Driving While License Revoked

Assigned Deputy: A. Ames

Location: Mile Marker 276 Interstate 25, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 2002 red Chevy Tahoe

Suspect: Samuel Burnside, 56, Albuquerque, NM

Charges: Driving While License Revoked, Operation of Vehicles on Approach of Authorized Emergency Vehicles

On Thursday, April 5, 2018 at approximately 5:26pm, while deputy was removing debris off the roadway with emergency equipment turned on, vehicle failed to move over or slow down. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver who was the suspect. Suspect was run through N.C.I.C. and returned with a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause attached. Driver was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was not seized due to the infraction occurring within the Santa Fe City limits.

Location: Lower Firehouse Road, Espanola, NM

Victim: Female, 70, Espanola, NM

Charges: Residential Burglary, Larceny

On Thursday, April 5, 2018 at approximately 2:31pm, deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and removed a 32" television, silver Apple IPAD, a copper ring, black fire pit, and a weed wacker from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Charges: Residential Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On Thursday, April 5, 2018 at approximately 4:56pm, deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a window and removed jewelry, passports, and keys from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

0218005140 / Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property / 4-5-18

Deputy Assigned: G. Marquez

Commander Entering: Corporal David

Location: Callejon Alegre

Damaged: Window

Deputies responded to the location where it was learned two unidentified males entered the residence while a homeowner was present.  Homeowner fled the area and contacted Law Enforcement.  Deputies attempted to locate the suspects in the area but were unsuccessful.  No items were reported taken and a window was damaged during the burglary.  Case is under investigation.

0218005106 Warrant Service 4/5/18

Suspect/ Arrested: Nicole Morales age 36

Location: Camino Capilla Vieja

Deputies made contact with Morales at the above listed location.  Morales had a warrant for her arrest. She was arrested on the warrant and booked into the Santa Fe County ADC without further incident.

Suspect: Alexis Medina, 35, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at approximately 8:16pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate having an outstanding warrant for their arrest. Suspect had an outstanding arrest warrant for the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: Mile Marker 3 on NM 30

Suspect: Alejandro Ramos, 26, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at approximately 5:08pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to the suspect having an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Warrant was confirmed and the suspect was arrested for the outstanding arrest warrant. The original charge for the warrant was Battery. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Case #0218005091, Unattended Death

Location: Thanpi Tside Poe, Santa Fe, NM

Deceased: Male, 77, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at approximately 3:59pm, deputy responded to location in reference to a male who was not conscious and not breathing. Medics arrived on scene and life-saving procedures were unsuccessful. The Office of the Medical Investigator responded to the scene. There were no signs of foul play and the death appears to be of natural causes.

Case #0218005095, Larceny

Location: 100 block of Las Estrellas, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at approximately 4:46pm, deputy responded to location in reference to a larceny. An unknown suspect(s) removed several tools and a 10' wooden trailer from the property. The trailer was not entered into N.C.I.C. at this time for lack of information about the trailer. Investigation is ongoing.
