A traffic stop was conducted on suspects vehicle for careless driving. The suspect displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. He provided a breath simple and had a breath alcohol content of over the legal limit of .08. He was booked into the Santa Fe County ADC accordingly.

On Friday, April 13, 2018, Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Jail for an inmate found with contraband on his person. Corrections staff found the suspect in possession of heroin and cocaine. Suspect was charged and rebooked.

On Friday, April 13, 2018, Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Jail for an inmate found with contraband on his person. Corrections staff found the suspect in possession of heroin and suboxone. Suspect was charged and rebooked.

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the adult detention center in reference to a male subject with an active arrest warrant. Upon arrival, the above mentioned male subject was served with a warrant out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for multiple traffic violations. The male subject was re-booked without incident.

Upon arrival, the above male subject was served with a warrant out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for Camping Regulations on City Property. The male subject was re-booked without incident.

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the adult detention center in reference to an inmate with a active warrant for his arrest. Upon arrival, the above mentioned male subject was served with an arrest warrant for failure to pay fines out of Rio Arriba Magistrate Court. The male subject was re-booked without incident.

On Thursday, April 12, 2018 Deputies responded to the aforementioned location in reference to an inmate found with contraband on his person. It was discovered the suspect had the narcotics hidden on his body and were located by jail staff during a strip search. The suspect was rebooked at the Santa Fe County Jail.

On Thursday, April 12, 2018 Deputies responded to the aforementioned location in reference to a welfare check. It was discovered the suspect battered his father during an argument. The suspect arrested and booked at the Santa Fe County Jail.

Victim reported he received an email from a male posing to be his friend in another state. Suspect told victim he needed money to assist his niece. Victim sent money via iTunes gift cards. Suspect then contacted victim again demanding more money. Victim reported at this time he realized it was a scam. Case is under investigation.

Stolen: Gold Baume Merci watch and gold earrings
Value: $12,000.00
On April 12th, 2018 the victim reported someone had entered her apartment and stole her gold earrings and gold watch. The victim stated she had left the items on the shelf above the sink and the items were no longer there. No forced entery was located. The victim noticed the items missing on April 11th, 2018 in the morning when she went to leave the apartment. Suspect information is pending at this time.
