Victim reports forced entry through rear window and a Graco brand  airless paint sprayer along with 2 weed eaters are reported missing.  The paint sprayer was recovered in the area.  Case is under investigation.

Subject located in a disabled vehicle and was arrested on outstanding Bench Warrant out of San Miguel County for failure to pay fines on a Battery charge.

Location: Entrada La Cienega / Interstate 25

Suspect arrested: Frank Lucero, 50 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87508

  While patrolling the area of Entrada La Cienega, a vehicle was observed with its parking lights on partially on the road. The vehicle turned on the headlamps and proceeded across an intersection then pulled over. A welfare check was conducted on the occupants of the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver identified as Frank Lucero. It was discovered that  Franks' driving privileges were revoked, arrest pursuant. Mr. Lucero was placed under arrest without incident. Frank was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center where he was booked accordingly. 

Case# 0216019943 ? Aggravated DWI / 12-29-2016

Location: US 84/285 at Boneyard Road

Arrested: Marcos Lopez-Pacheco        Age: 26     Chico,CA

Deputies initiated a traffic stop with the listed person after dispatch issued a BOLO for a possible drunk driver. After contacting the listed individual signs of impairment were observed. The driver submitted to sobriety testing and impairment was displayed. Driver was arrested and he submitted to chemical testing where the results were .19/.18. The driver was taken to jail where he was booked accordingly.

Incident Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center

Person Arrested: Derek Martinez, 28 years of age

 

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to the detention center in reference to a narcotics violation.  The above listed individual was found to be in possession of narcotics.  The individual was charged and re-booked without incident.

Location: Residence on Sierra Azul off State Road 599

Stolen: Several electronics and kitchen ware valued at $4,000

The victim reported on 12-28-16 between the hours of 12:00pm and 9:30pm someone entered their home by forcing open the front door.  Several electronics were stolen from the home.

Items Taken: Pottery, Paintings

On above date, Deputy was dispatched to the area of Paseo De La Tierra in reference to a burglary.  Upon arrival it was determined forced entry into the residence was gained while the homeowner was away and the above items were taken.  The case is under investigation.

On the aforementioned date, deputies made contact with the victim who advised that a storage unit that was being rented out was broken into back in November of this year.  The victim advised that she was unaware of the burglaries occurrence until recently.  Property taken was a specialized seesaw performance tripod.  This case is currently under investigation.

Incident Location: El Dorado Area

Suspect: Unknown

On the aforementioned date, deputies made contact with the victim who advised that she was contacted by a commander from the Santa Fe County Sheriffs Office.  The victim further stated that she was informed that she had multiple outstanding bench warrant for her arrest and could rectify the warrants by paying $2,000 dollars in fee's.  The victim unsuspectingly complied and pay the money and never heard from the fraudulent individual again.  This case is currently under investigation.
