Case#: 0216019886, Warrant Service 12/28/16

Person Arrested: Jeremy Jimenez 45 years of age

 

On the aforementioned date, deputies served an arrest warrant on the above mentioned individual while he was currently incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center for failure to appear in court.

Person Arrested: Karl Eiker, 60 years of age

 

On the aforementioned date, deputies were conducting a follow up investigation and made contact with the above mentioned individual.  A records check revealed Mr.Eiker to have an active bench warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in court.  He was taken into custody without incident.  

0216019875 / negligent use of a deadly weapon, Criminal damage to property / 12-27-16

Deputy assigned: S. Coles

Location: Residence in Chimayo N.M.

Arrested: Cruz Gallegos, 27-year-old male from Chimayo N.M.

On 12-27-16 at about 11:00pm Deputies heard several gunshots coming from inside Mr. Gallegos' residence.  Contact was made with Mr. Gallegos who stated he was shooting at his walls and ceiling because he heard someone talking outside of his house.  A total of 19 rounds were fired from Mr. Gallegos from a handgun into his interior walls and ceiling.  After he was placed under arrest and into the back of a patrol unit he began hitting his head against an interior dome light damaging it.  He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On above date suspect was rebooked into SFC ADC  on Warrant for Failure to Appear. Bond of $5100.00 Cash Only. 

Case # 0216019825 / Burglary / 12-27-2016

Deputy Assigned: Clay Cullison

Commander Entering: Lt. Michael Martinez

Location: Las Lomas Drive       Santa Fe,NM    (Valle Vista)

Deputy responded to location in reference to a report of a burglary. Once on scene it was determined that the suspects entered the establishment by force. While inside the establishment, the suspects attempted to force their way into a locked office but were not successful. Case is still under investigation.

Case-0216019844-Death Investigation-12/27/16

Location:100 Block Of Mammies Mile

Victim: 87 year Old Female

On above date deputies were dispatched to the above address to an unresponsive female. Life saving techniques were administered too no avail. OMI was notified and advised no foul play was observed.

 

Case#: 0216019827, Residential Burglary, Larceny, 12/27/16

Incident Location: Madrid Area

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the victims home in reference to a Residential Burglary.  Upon their arrival, the victim advised deputies that his home was broken into and various household furnishing and electronics were taken.  No suspect information is available at this time, this case is currently under investigation.

0216019838, Larceny, Possession of a controlled substance; Marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia, 12-27-2016

Deputy Assigned:  P. Colombe

Location:  30 Buffalo Trail, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Jermaine Theragood, Age 39, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies dispatched to above location in reference to a larceny.  Deputies learned above suspect was using other guest's player cards at the location.  Suspect admitted to using the cards that had free play money.  During the investigation, Deputies learned that the above suspect had an active warrant.  A green leafy substance and a multi colored pipe was found on the suspect during search incident to arrest.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Incident Location: Horton and West Venus Road, Edgewood, NM

Person Arrested: Brett Easley, 31 years of age

 

On the aforementioned date, a traffic stop was conducted and a records check revealed the above listed person to have an active arrest warrant for failure to pay fines.  The above listed person was taken into custody and transported to Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked without incident.

0216019763 – Service of Arrest Warrant – 12-25-16

Location: US-84-285 – 174.5 Mile Marker

Suspect: Joaquin Johnson-Lucero -37 - Rio Rancho, NM

Original Charges: Aggravated DWI – Driving while Revoked – Careless Driving

The suspect, who was highly intoxicated, was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed into a safety barrier on US-84-285 near the Camel Rock Casino.  When the suspect was checked he was found to have an outstanding bench warrant.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).
