Location: Mirasol Ct.

The victim stated that his house is in foreclosure, and he has been living out of state for the past year.  When he came to check on the house this week he found that numerous items were missing from his house and property, including 4 vehicles and a motorcycle.  The victim believes that a sub-contractor hired by the bank is responsible for the theft of his property.  The victim estimated the missing property to be worth approximately $ 89,000.00

Case #0216007253, Death Investigation

Assigned Deputy: V. Barnett

Location: 131 Peaks Place Mobile Home Park, Santa Fe, NM

Deceased: Female, 46, Santa Fe, NM

On Friday, May 13, 2016 at about 8:19pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to an unresponsive female. Medics were called to the scene, but were unable to revive the female. The Office of the Medical Examiner was called to the scene. There were no signs of trauma to the female. Foul play does not appear to be a factor. Investigation is ongoing.

0216007145, Possession of a controlled substance (2counts)/ Possession of drug paraphernalia, 5-12-2016

Deputy Assigned- Antonio Gutierrez

Location- 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM

Person Arrested- Daniel Hernandez 30 yo Pecos, NM

The above listed person was found to have narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside his vehicle during a vehicle checkpoint conducted by SFADC correction officers entering the premises of SFADC. In addition, the subject had an active bench warrant out of Santa Fe Magistrate Court.  Above subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

0216007140, Theft of identity, 5-12-2016

Location: Este Es El Camino, Santa Fe, NM

Victim reported unknown suspect had used her personal identification at the Memorial Hospital in Denver as she recieved a bill due from 2014. Victim reported she was not in Colorado during the time frame.

There is no suspect information at this time.

Case #0216007130, Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle

Location: Futures Loop, Edgewood, NM

Victim: Female, 55, Edgewood, NM

Vehicle: Green 2004 Ford F250

On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at about 10:10pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. An unknown suspect(s) removed the vehicle from location. Vehicle was entered into the National Crime Information Center as stolen. Investigation is ongoing.

0216007125 / DWI / 05-11-2016

Deputy Assigned: Jose Lujan

Commander Entering: Lt. Michael Martinez

Location: NP 101 / Santa Fe County Road 84F

Arrested: Jacob Valdez     Age: 53   Santa Fe,NM (Pojoaque)

Driver was stopped after failing to stop at a posted stop sign. Contact was made with the driver who showed signs of impairment. The driver submitted to sobriety testing where signs of impairment were detected. Driver was arrested and submitted to chemical testing with the results being, .15, .15. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail. The driver also had a prior DWI related offense, so his vehicle was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County Ordinace 2006-5;amended 2013-5.

0216007104 / Breaking and Entering, Criminal damage / 05-11-16

Location: Valle Vista Blvd, Santa Fe, NM, 87508 (Santa Fe area)

 Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported breaking and entering call of service at an address on Valle Vista Blvd. Contact was made with the victim who reported suspect(s) made unlawful entry into the victims home. Once entry was gained, suspect(s) damaged interior portions of the victims home. The scene was processed for evidence. This case remains under investigation.

0216006986 - Larceny - 05-10-16

Location: Eldorado Area

Victim: County of Santa Fe

A foreman for the Santa Fe County Public Works Dept. reported that sometime between Saturday (5-7-16)  and Monday (5-10-16) someone cut the wires and took three strobe light warning beacons from several construction vehicles that were parked at the fire station on Old Las Vegas Highway.

There is no suspect information at this time.

Victim: Eldorado Water & Sanitation

A worker for Eldorado Water & Sanitation reported that sometime between Saturday (5-7-16)  and Monday (5-9-16) someone cut the wires and took a full sized LED lightbar off of one of their utility vehicles.

There is no suspect information at this time

0216007068 / Burglary (Auto) / 05-10-2016

Location: College Avenue    Santa Fe,NM

Items Stolen: Youth baseball equipment and baseball clothing

Victim reported to Deputies that on 5-10-2016 between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. unknown persons forced entry into her vehicle while parked in the parking lot during service. The victim stated that the unknown persons stole the listed type of items and caused damage to her vehilce. Case is under investigation.
