  Santa Fe County Deputies responded to a reported burglary in the area of Caja Del Rio, Santa Fe, NM. Contact was made with the victim who reported between the time 5:15pm - 5:45pm the victims vehicle was parked in the area of Caja Del Rio when suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle . Once entry was gained suspect(s) took US Currency and a credit card from the vehicle. This case remains under invstigation.

Victim reports 2003 Subaru was damaged over night.  Multiple scratches all over vehicle including a bent license plate.  Case is under investigation.

0216006705 - Residential Burglary - 05-05-16

Location: 100 Block of County Rd 84 – Jaconita / Pojoaque area

The victim reported that sometime between May 3^rd and May 5^th that some took a 50 inch - Hitachi LED TV from his guest house.  The victim stated that one or both of the doors to the guest house may have been left unlocked.

Deputies responded to an unconscious elderly female in vehicle.  Upon arrival medics were performing CPR.  Female age: 65 from Iowa was transported to St. Vincent Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.  Cause of death appears to be from medical episode.  OMI is investigating.  No signs of foul play.

 

Case #0216006676, Trafficking a Controlled Substance, to wit: Mushrooms

Suspect: Andrew Congdon, Glorieta, NM

Vehicle: 2001 Maroon Subaru Outback

Charges: Trafficking a Controlled Substance, to wit: Mushrooms; Trafficking a Controlled Substance, to wit: Marijuana; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Mushrooms; Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Marijuana; Speeding; No Insurance

On Thursday, May 4, 2016 at approximately 7:37pm, Deputy observed the vehicle speeding. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver. Driver could not produce proof of insurance. Indications of Marijuana were detected and driver consented to a vehicle search. Marijuana, mushrooms, drug paraphernalia, and items consistent with trafficking the controlled substances were located. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded at the tow truck impound lot.

0216006675-Unlawful Taking of a motor vehicle, Criminal Damage to Property- 5-4-16

Between 8:00 am and 7:30 pm, unknown subjects drove through a wire fence on the property and took a 2005 Black/Tan Ford F350 pickup truck bearing NM license plate HGC293.  Case is under investigation.

Location: Residence on Berrendo Road

Deceased: 67-year-old male

On 05-03-16 at about 9:00pm the deceased was found lying in bed unresponsive by a family member.  Paramedics were called to the scene and determined the male was deceased.  There were no signs of foul play.

On Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at approximately 10:22pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) made entry to the residence and removed televisions, a large amount of cash, video game systems, computers, and clothing from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Case #0216006638, Battery Against a Household Member

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member, Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member

On Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at approximately 9:50pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim and suspect had been involved in a verbal argument. During the argument the suspect battered the victim and caused damage to a door at the location. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Victim did not receive any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
