Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the area of Calle De La Capilla. Initial reports showed that both inidvidual had struck eachother. Santa Fe County Deputy Sgt. Trujillo arrived on scene and began to invstigate the incident. During the investigation it was discovered that Matthew Esquibel struck the victim after a heated argument. The victim struck the suspect back in self defense. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged accordingly. Matthew Esquibel was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Warrant: Desriee Garcia, age 30
Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival deputies learned the above suspect had cut the victim with a sharpe edged object. The suspect left the residence and an arrest warrant was issued for her arrest. Suspects location is unknown at this time.

Arrested: Halbert Martinez, age 25 Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to the jail in regards to a narcotics violation. Upon arrival deputies interviewed jail staff and learned the above suspect had suboxone on his person. He was rebooked accordingly on the above charges.

Suspect: Kenneth Sanchez, 30, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer; Concealing Identity; Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit:Clonazepam; Conduct Offensive to Public Well-Being
On Saturday, April 16, 2016 at about 2:12am, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. It was learned that the suspect had an outstanding arrest warrant. Suspect was located and refused to cooperate with deputies and resisted arrest. Suspect refused to identify himself, and was found in possession of Clonazepam. Suspect was arrested and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. While on the way to the Adult Detention Facility, suspect kicked the door and window several times and spit in the vehicle. Suspect was booked on the charges listed and 4 outstanding arrest warrants into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The domestic dispute was verbal only.

Arrested: Alfonso Martinez 34 yoa male, Rio Rancho NM
Charges: Possession of controlled substance to wit Suboxone, and Possession of drug Paraphernalia
Correctional Officers were conducting a unit check after observing inmates passing items back and forth. A pat search was conducted on the above inmate where he was found with a syringe in his front pocket. The syringe contained a liquid with an orange tint suspected to be suboxone. The above suspect was booked and charged accordingly without further incident.

Between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm unknown subjects made forced entry into a 2012 Toyota Highlander and stole the above item. Case is under investigation.

Suspect (Arrested): Denika Romero – 34 – Espanola, NM
Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Narrative: During a search of the suspect she was found to be in possession of a syringe and a Controlled Substance (Suboxone). The suspect was charged and booked on the above additional charges.

Suspect: Male – Name Unknown but Also Known As ( AKA) “Little Man”
Charges: Larceny > $500.00
Narrative: The victim said that a male that he knew as the father of a girl his daughter goes to school with was walking on Route 66. The victim picked up the male and gave him a ride to the Edgewood Wal-Mart. Sometime later the victim realized that the male had taken his Samsung Galaxy S4 phone with a value of approximately $ 800.00.

Stolen: $300 dollars in US currency, Power Drill, and Legal Documents Estimated Value $360.00
Victim reports on March 31, 2016 at an unknown time an unknown person gained unlawful entry into the above location. Once inside the above items were taken. Victim also reports that an ATM withdrawal of $300.00 dollars at an unknown location was taken from the victim's bank account. Case still pending further investigation.

Victim reports unlocked vehicle entered overnight and wallet with credit cards taken. One credit card used to purchase gasoline before card could be cancelled. Case is under investigation.
