Arrested: Manuel Gallegos, 50-year-old male from Belen N.M.

On 04-11-16 Mr. Gallegos was arrested on a bench warrant.  While being booked into the Santa fe County Jail a small amount of Methamphetamine was found in his wallet.

Arrested: Michael Martinez 32 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member, False Imprisonment, and Interference with Communications

Victim reports at the above location she was involved in a verbal argument with the above suspect.  The argument lead to the above suspect holding the victim down by her arms and not allowing her to get up away from him.  Above suspect then took the phone away from the victim as she attempted to call 911 numerous times.  Victim had marks on her arm that was consistent with her statements.  Above suspect was arrested and booked on the above charges without further incident. 

0216005247 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage / 04-09-16

Location: Caja Del Rio Road, Santa Fe, NM, 87508

Stolen: Electronics

 Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office responded to an address on Caja Del Rio Road, Santa Fe, County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on scene and made contact. Victim stated on April 09, 2016 the victim was parked at an address on Caja Del Rio between the hours of 4:45-5:00pm. Victim left the vehicle and returned shortely after. Victim reported finding her vehicle and been burglarized. Electronics were taken from within the vehicle. This case remains under investigation.

  Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Firerock Road in reference to a reported breaking and entering. Deputies made contact with the victim who reported that suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims home. Nothing was reported stolen at this time. The scene was canvassed for evidence.This case remains under investigation.

0216005219 / DWI, Driving on roadways laned for traffic / 04-09-16

Location: State Road 502 at State Road 30

Arrested: Abe Herrera, 30-year-old male from El Rancho N.M.

On 04-09-16 at about 2:20am a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Herrera's Nissan Altima because he was swearving in and out of his lane of travel.  He showed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest after conducting field sobriety tests.  He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on the above charges. 

0216005212 / Aggravated assault against a household member, Battery against a household member / 04-08-16

Location: Residence in the Santa Fe West Mobile Home Park

Arrested: Gabriela Ordonez, 42-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 04-08-16 Ms. Ordonez battered a family member and assulterd them with a screwdriver during an argument. 

Case #0216005206, Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle

Location: 17400 block of US Highway 84/285, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Male, 60, San Juan, NM

Vehicle: 2015 black Ford Fiesta

On Friday, April 8, 2016 at approximately 9:18pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a motor vehicle that had been stolen from the location. It was learned an unknown suspect(s) had removed the vehicle from the location without the consent of the owner. Investigation is ongoing. 

Case #0216005160, Battery Against a Household Member

Location: Cities of Gold Road, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 54, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: John Baca, 54, Santa Fe, NM

On Thursday, April 7, 2016 at approximately 10:35pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. During an argument the suspect battered the victim. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The victim did not suffer any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
