Location: Boneyard Road, Santa Fe, NM (Arroyo Seco Area)

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to an unresponsive, not breathing 70 year old male.  Upon arrival Medics were already attempting to revive the male with no success.  The male had a history of high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.  There were no signs of foul play.  OMI was contacted and took over the scene.   

0216003162 / Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon / 03-01-16

Location: 5100 Block of Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM, 87507

 Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Christus St. Vincents Hospital in reference to a reported 20 year old male subject with an open wound at the hospital. Santa Fe County Sheriffs Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with the victim. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury. Victim reported a suspect observed the victim in the area of the 5100 block of Agua Fria Road and fired a firearm at the victim. Santa Fe County Detectives arrived on scene and began an investigation into the incident. This case remains under investigation.

0216003165-Identity Theft- 3-1-16

Location- 100 Block of Dos Lobos  Santa Fe, NM

On this date, I met with the victim who stated he received a letter from the IRS requesting more information regarding his2015 tax return that was filed.  Victim stated that he has not filed his 2015 return as of yet.  Case is under investigation.

Suspect(s)- Pending

On this date, Deputy responded to the above location. Victim reported that unknown suspect(s) gained forced entry into the business by breaking a rear window sometime on 2-29-2016 around 5:30pm and todays date around 7:30am. Victim reported nothing was taken at this time. Case is still under investigation.

Location: 18094 US 84/285 Family Dollar, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque area)

Suspect(s): Pending

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a robbery. A cashier from the store reported a Hispanic male individual entered the store to purchase four cartons of cigarrettes. Upon scaning the items, the suspect grabbed two cartons from the cashier who was in immediate control of the cartons by using force. The suspect fled the store in a beige SUV vehicle traveling north on US 84/285. Case is still under investigation. At this time, no suspect has been identified.

0216003109-Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property- 2-29-16

Location- 100 Block of Rancho Manana  Santa Fe, NM

Items taken- Misc jewlery

On this date, deputy responded to the above location.  Upon arrival and investigation, it was found that subjects damaged a window to gain entry into the residence, and upon entering, took the above items. This occurred between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3: 50 p.m. Case is under investigation.

0216003087, Extreme cruelty to animals, 2-29-2016

Location: Dinkle Road/Hwy 41 (Kings Ranch), Stanley, NM

Suspect: Pending

Between 4pm on 2-28-2016 and today's date around 8:30am, unknown suspect(s) shot two Charlois cows that were on the pasture with a small caliber weapon.  A calf was also found dead on the property.  It could not be determined if the calf was shot also due to only a carcass was found at the scene. Cattle Livestock inspectors notified of the incident. Reporting party estimated the loss of the cattle to be $20,500.00. Case is still under investigation.

0216003066, Aggravated DWI, Road Laned for Traffic, Equiptment Violation. 02.28.16

Location: Santa Fe County Road 44 at Sandia

Arrested: Melecio Gallegos, age 22

Depuites conducted a traffic stop at the above location. When deputies made contact with the driver they noticed he was intoxicated.  The driver performed SFST's and showed signs of impairment and he was arrested.  The defendant was booked at ADC and his vehicle was seized.

Location: 18094 US 84/285 Family Dollar (Pojoaque)

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a robbery.  A cashier from the store reported a Hispanic entered the store and picked up a pack of candy.  When he reached the counter he handed the cleark a note demanding all the cash.  According to the cashier, the suspect did have a firearm in his waistband.  The suspect fled the store in a white compact vehicle, with an unknown amount of cash.  Case is still under investigation, no suspect has been identified.

0216003029, Child Abuse, DWI, Careless Driving, 02.27.16

Location: St. Road 503 at Don Bernardo

Arrested: Elizabeth Trevizo, age, 26

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a motor vehicle crash.  Upon arrival deputies learned the driver Elizabeth Trevizo was impaired when she crashed her vehicle.  Elizabeth also had her 1 year old daughter in the vehicle.  Elizabeth was arrested on the above charges without incident.
