On Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 12:05am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry through the front door, causing damage to the door and removed a pool table, a wood stove, and a computer from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Monique Ortiz     Age: 28    Albuquerque,NM

Deputy stopped the suspect after observing her operating a vehilce and committing a traffic violation. After contacting the suspect, the deputy learned that the driver was operating her vehicle while her license was revoked with the arrest clause. The driver was arrested and was taken to jail where she was booked accordingly. The vehicle was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County seizure ordinance.

On 11-22-15 between the hours of 5:30PM and 7:00PM someone entered the church through a back door and stole the offering box.

Suspect Eric Ibuado – 31 – Espanola, NM

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)             

Narrative: Deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at the entrance/exit roundabout at the Buffalo Thunder Casino.  Upon arrival It was found that the suspect had exited a parking lot and then failed to make a right turn at the roundabout.  The suspect’s vehicle struck a large decorative boulder on the roundabout causing moderate damage to his vehicle.  A DWI investigation was conducted and the suspect was subsequently arrested and booked for DWI.
