Case #0215014081, Aggravated DWI

Location: State Road 14 and Fire Place, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Sheree Garcia, 20, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:2003 Silver Honda Civic

On Monday, September 7, 2015 at 6:43pm, Deputy stopped the vehicle at a DWI checkpoint and made contact with the driver. Deputy observed signs that the driver consumed alcoholic beverages prior to driving. The Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, the driver showed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest for DWI. The driver was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to a breath test. The driver provided a breath sample, which was more than double the legal limit. A records check on the driver's prior history indicated the driver had been arrested for DWI previously. The vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Case # 0215014068 Warrant Arrest 09-07-15

Location: La Joya/ McCurdy Dr. ( Santa Cruz)

Arrested: Jose Munoz-Varela ( 20 yoa male Espanola)

Charges: Santa Fe City Municipal Warrant (Fail To Appear)

The above subject was arrested after he was stopped for a traffic violation, and found to be have an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.

 

Case #0215014075 Burglary 09-07-15

Deputy Assigned: Deputy Tim Lopez

Location: 2100 Block of Camino Maria Feliz (Santa Fe NM)

Deputies responded to the above location reference to a burglary. Victim reported between 8-15 and todays date an unknown person entered their residence and removed misc. items. Case is under investigations.

0215014059, DWI, 9/6/15

Location: Arroyo Hondo Trail  Arroyo Hondo

Suspect: Henry Catenacci  Age:53  Santa Fe

Henry Catenacci was arrested for DWI after he crashed into a fence near his home and was found to be impaired.  He was arrested and his B.A.C. was .08 or greater.  He was booked accordingly. No injuries reported.

0215014051, Attempt to commit a felony to wit: Robbery, Conspiracy, Battery, 09/06/2015

Deputy Assigned: L. Martinez

Location: Buffalo Thunder Resort (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Jacqueline Perez, 35yoa female, Santa Fe

Charges: Attempt to commit a felony, Battery, Conspiracy

On this date at the Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino the above suspect attempted to take by force a purse belonging to another female.  The incident occurred in the parking lot while the victim and her husband were leaving the Casino.  The suspect followed the victim out of the Valet Parking area and tried to grab the purse off of her shoulder from behind.  The victim fought back and secured her purse with the assistance of her husband.  The suspect then fled the area in a silver truck which was located at a residence in the area a short time later.  The suspect was arrested without incident and booked into ADC.

Victim: 55 YOA Female

 

Sunday, September 6, 2015 Deputies responded to a call of an unconscious and non-responsive female.  Upon arrival it was learned that the victim had passed away due to suspected medical issues.  No foul play is suspected.  OMI was contacted and took over the investigation. 

 

0215014012, DWI/ Careless driving/ No insurance, 9-5-2015

Location: State Road 106/ Shady Lane, Espanola, NM

 

Arrested: Tashina Bustos, age 27, Espanola NM

 

On this date at approximately 8:13 pm, the above individual was involved in a two vehicle crash.  Upon making contact with the driver it was found that she showed signs of impairment. Subject was given the standardized field sobriety tests. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail and booked accordingly

 

0215014008, Agg. Assault/ Shooting at an occupied dwelling/ Criminal damage to property 09/05/2015

Location: 182 Haozous Road, Santa Fe, NM (County Road 42)

 

Victim: 37 year old male

 

Suspect: 21 year old male

Victim reported approximately three days ago a male who he suspects being on his property fired a firearm several times in his general direction. One round was suspected of striking an abandoned non-functional vehicle.  The victim failed to report the incident at the time as he felt it was not important. Evidence was collected on scene. No injuries were reported.  Case is still under investigation.

Victim: Female, 34, Espanola, NM

Charges: Burgalry (Residential), Larceny

On Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 2:11 am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by entering an unsecured window and removed a television from the residence. Invesitgation is ongoing.

Stolen: 2 television, Apple Airbook laptop, misc. identification card

 

Suspects: Pending

 

On above date deputies were dispatched to above address in reference to a burglary. Victim reported that sometime today between 7:00 am and 11:45 a.m., unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into above residence and stole above mentioned items. Case is still under investigation.
