Location:  Calle Po Ae Pi, Santa Fe, NM (Rufina Area)

Stolen: Misc. heavy equipment demo-tools total estimated value: $12,000.00

Victim reports at the above construction site unknown person(s) gained unlawful forced entry into a Utility Trailer, Cargo Trailer, and Conex Box.  Entry was gained by cutting locks off the doors.  Once inside the above items were taken.  Total estimated value of damage $350.00 dollars.  Case still pending further investigation.

Case #0215006684, Death Investigation

Assigned Deputy: J. Vigil

Commander Entering: Cpl. K. Whyte

Location: Thompson Road, Edgewood, NM

Deceased: Female, 86, Edgewood, NM

On Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 7:00 PM, Deputy responded to location in reference to an unresponsive female. Attempts to revive the deceased were unsuccessful. The Office of the Medical Examiner responded to the scene. There were no signs of foul play.

SFCSO Case #0215006680/ Driving revoked, Tampering with evidence, Obstructing an officer and No passing zone/ 05-05-2015

Commander Enetering: Cpl. James C. Yeager

Location: Agua Fria/ Camino De Hermanos Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507

Arrested: Archuleta, Tommy; 55 years of age; Santa Fe, NM 87507

Deputies came into contact with the above suspect at a checkpoint being conducted at this location. Deputies observed the vehicle cross over a coned off area for the checkpoint and strike a curb in an attempt to avoid the checkpoint. The vehicle was located near the area and the suspect, close to the vehicle stated his brother was operating the vehicle, No one else was around the vehicle.Deputies witnessed the suspect attempting to bury the keys to the vehicle in the ground at the location. A State of New Mexico MVD inquiry showed the suspects license was revoked. The vehicle was seized as per SFC ordince and the driver was arrested on the above stated charges without incident.

SFCSO Case # 0215006686/ Identity Theft/ 05-05-2015

Location: 6000 Block of Airport Rd. Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507

Deputies responded to the above location on today's date in reference to an identity theft. The victim advised on this date at approximately 6:30pm, she received a phone call from "Albuquerque Health Partners" advising she had a medical appointment with their group. The victim advised she didnt make an appointment. The  victim stated the caller had her name but then asked for her date of birth and social security number. The victim did not provide the caller with her personal information and hung up. The victim then contacted law enforcement to report the matter. At this time, no suspects have been located or identified in this matter and this case is under investigation.

Charges: Attempt to commit a felony, to wit: Fraud, Larceny

On Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 3:59 PM, Deputy responded to location in reference to a fraud. An unknown suspect(s) removed checks from the victim's mail and attempted to cash the checks at a bank. One of the checks was valued at more than $20,000.

Case:#: 0215006628/Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/Date: 05-05-15

Location: Seton Village Road, Santa Fe, NM (Arroyo Hondo Area)

Stolen: Transit level, tool pouch, 2 bosch Sawzalls, 2 Dewalt Sawzalls, Welding helmet, Lincoln mig welder, Ingersoll air compressor, and Honda air compressor Estimated value: $4,110.00

Victim reports unknown person(s) gained unlawful forced entry into a Utility Trailer at the above address.  Entry was gained by prying and breaking the hinges of the drop down rear door.  Once inside the above items were taken.  Estimated value of damage was valued at $100.00.  Case still pending further investigation.

Case#: 0215006594/Possession of Controlled of Substance/Date: 05-04-15

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center)

Arrested: Genevieve Viarreal-Gallegos 36 yoa female, Santa Fe, NM

While Correction Officers were conducting a strip search on the above inmate a small orange strip was located on her.  The above admitted that the substance was hers and was re-booked without further incident on the above charge.

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center)

Arrested: Sabryna Garcia 37 yoa female Santa Fe, NM

While Correction Officers were conducting a strip search on the above subject a small orange strip and white pill like substance were located.  The above admitted that the substance was hers and was rebooked into ADC without further incident.

SFCSO Case #0215006623/ Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle; Aggravated DWI, Driving on a revoked license; Battery against a hous

Location: 10A Cities of Gold Road/ SR 76 at milepost 2. Espanola, NM 87532

Arrested: Gonzales, Aaron; 29 years of age; Santa Cruz, NM 87567

Deputies responded to two (2) calls of service, one a suspicious person and the other a stolen motor vehicle at the above two locations. Contact was made with the victim who advised she was at the Cities of Gold Casino and the suspect arrived. An altercation ensued between the two and the suspect struck the victim in the face with an open hand. The victim fled the room and when she came back, she found her  truck was gone and her handbag was stolen. Deputy Clark made contact with the suspect on SR 76 near milepost 2 and he found to be the driver of the stolen truck. The suspect was found to be intoxicated, showed signs of imparment and driving on a revoked drivers license. During the course of the investigation, it was also found that the suspect stole gardening tools from a residence near the crash. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly on the above stated charges.

0215006511/Death Investigation/5.2.2015

Deputy assigned: Detective P. Prentice Commander entering: Lt. Diego Lucero Location: 2800 Block of San Isidro Crossing, Santa Fe, NM Victim: Unknown On Saturday, May 2, 2015, Deputies responded to the above location regarding located human remains. A partial human skull was located on the property, including skeletal bone fragments. OMI responded to the scene and during their investigation recovered items identified as clay pottery fragments. OMI concluded their investigation and based on the skeletal age and identified pottery it was determined the location was a possible ancient burial site of what is believed to be a Native American population whom once resided on the property. Concluding the investigation, the skeletal remains were re-buried at the original burial site.
