Victim reported to Deputy that today, a male subject identifying himself as a family member called the victim asking for him to wire money because he was in need. The victim stated that he sent the money and then found out that the male was not a family member and was scammed out of his funds. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to location in reference to a home which had been damaged. Upon Deputy arrival, It was determined that unknown subjects forced entry into the home. It was unsure at this time if anything was taken from within the home. Case is under investigation.

Contact was made with the victim who advised that suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took various tools. Stolen: Black Ipad 32G gen 2, Samsung 46" flat screen, brown lunch cooler

Victim reported sometime 10:30a.m. and 2:00p.m. unknown suspect entered the residence through an unlocked bedroom balcony door by tearing the screen door and stole the above listed items.

The items stolen were valued at about $2910.00

Victim stated that a suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims home. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took an electronic from within the home. This case remains under investigation.

Location: Camino La Tierra, HeadQuarters Trail, Santa Fe, NM, 87507

Arrested: Marshal Dylan 22 years old, # 12 Lauro Drive, NM 87508

    On Tuesday July 29, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of Camino La Tierra and HeadQuarters Trail in reference to a motor vehicle crash.  Santa Fe Deputies arrived and made contact with the above listed driver. An odor of alcoholic beverages was detected. SFST's were administered. Mr. Dylan showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested. Mr. Dylan was transported to the Santa Fe Sheriff's Office where he was given a breath test.  Mr. Dylan was then transported to the Santa Fe Sheriff's Office where he was booked accordingly.

0214012027 / DWI, Roadways laned for traffic / 07-29-14

Location: State Road 599 at Airport Road

Arrested: Bernice Ortiz, 48-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 07-29-14 at approximately 8:30AM the defendant was observed traveling south bound in the north bound lanes of travel on State Road 599.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the defendant who showed signs of intoxication.  Field sobriety tests were administered and the defendant was subsequently arrested.  A breath test was conducted and results showed the defendant to be over twice the legal limit.

Victim reported that an ex employee stole 14 checks from his check book and cashed them totaling in the above amount. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
