Arrested: John Torres, 74 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery on a Household Member

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic.  Victim reports him and the above suspect got into verbal argument that turned physical.  Victim indicated the above suspect bashed the victim's head into a window.  Victim sustained minor lacerations to his hand from the broken glass and a bump to the back of the head.  Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly without further incident.

Location: SFCR 88/ 145 Quintana Street, SF, NM (La Puebla Area)

Arrested: Orlando Martinez, 45 yoa male, Espanola, NM

Charges: DUI and Speeding

Deputy observed a Blue Chevrolet Colorado at the above location traveling 16 miles over the posted speed limit.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.  Upon contact with the driver an odor of marijuana was emitting from the cab of the vehicle.  Driver had dilated pupils and admitted to smoking marijuana 2 hours prior to operating the vehicle.  SFST's were administered, at which time the driver displayed signs of impairment.  Driver was arrested and read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory.  Suspect agreed to legal blood draw.  Results pending on blood draw.  Driver was booked and charged accordingly without further incident.

Victim reported to Deputy that today between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm, an unknown person sexually assaulted her while at the Dam Overlook. Case is under investigation.

Victim #2:  Female, 45, santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery Against a Household Member, Assault Against a Household Member,

                 Assault

On Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:26 PM the Suspect and Victims were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the Suspect threatened to harm both Victims and then struck Victim #1 with a closed fist in the head and arms.  Victim #1 sustained contusions to his arms and declined any medical attention.

Victim reported sometime between 6/10/14 and 6/11/14 some unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the residence through an unlocked window and stole the above listed items.

The items stolen were valued at about $178.00

Arrested: Angelo Lopez (40) Santa Fe NM

Driver was stopped for not making a complete stop at a stop sign at the intersection of County Road 84 and 84D.  Driver was found not to have a License as it had been revoked from the Motor Vehicle Division. Driver was arrested and booked at ADC.

Location: 18000 Block U.S. Highway 84/285

Stolen: 8 Radiators and Batteries, Generator, White bath tub, 3 Craftsman riding mowers, 2 unknown riding mowers, stack of Aluminum and stack of 20 guage wire.

Victim reported the above items taken from vehicles parked on his property.  He also reported within the last two weeks the 5 riding lawn mowers were removed from his property as well.  The generator was taken about a year ago.

Arrested: Alicia Quintana, 31yoa Female, Santa Fe

Charges: Abandonment or abuse of a child

Deputies responded with CYFD to a home visit.  Children in residence were left with unknown persons as suspect left the residence.  Children were found to be residing in sub-standard conditions leading to concerns for their health and safety.  Above suspect was arrested without incident and Children were placed with CYFD.

 On Wednesday June 11, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriffs Deputies responded to the the area of  Paseo Del Pinon in reference to a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the victim who advised that the suspect scratched him while he was trying to call 911. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Santa Fe County Detention Center where he was booked without further incident.

Arrested: Francisco Topete 57 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87507

 On June 11, 2014 Santa fe Sheriff Deputy Buchholz was patrolling the area of Airport Road when he observed the above listed suspect operating a motor vehicle without the use of his seatbelt as required by law. A traffic stop was conducted at which time it was learned  the suspects driving privileges were revoked. The driver was arrested and transported to the Santa Fe County Detetention Center where he was booked without incident.
