2022001912/ POSS. OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

ARRESTEE: PORTILLO-DIAZ, HUGO- 24-YEAR OLD HISPANIC MALE, RESIDENT OF SANTA FE, NM

On 3-27-22, Detention Center Officers found Portillo-Diaz in possession of controlled substance within the confines of the detention center. Portillo-Diaz was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Trafficking).

Suspect: David Romero

On the above date deputies stopped the suspect for speeding. Shorty thereafter a DUI investigation ensued. The suspect was found to be impaired. Implied consent was read and agreed to. The suspect tested twice the legal limit. he suspect was arrested with out incident.   

2022001903/Agg DUI, Agg Fleeing,Reckless/3-26-2022

Location: La Puebla Road and NM 76, Santa Fe County, NM

Arrested: Elias S. Calzadillas

Deputy observed a black BMW sedan traveling at a high rate of speed on La Puebla Road near El Sitio Road. Deputy observed the vehicle swerve onto the dirt shoulder off of the roadway. While the Deputy was turning his vehicle around the vehicle made its way to NM highway 76. Deputy located the vehicle on NM 76 traveling Eastbound. Deputy attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle fled and continued driving recklessly, all over the road ,almost crashing multiple times. Vehicle stopped at #761 NM highway 76. The driver was arrested for the above charges.

SUSPECT: UNKNOWN

On 3-26-2022, Deputy Tixier spoke with the victim, who was reporting someone opened a bank account without their permission. This case is under investigation.

SUSPECT(S) UNKNOWN

On 3-26-2022, Deputy Maylone investigated a motor vehicle burglary incident. An unknown person(s) made unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle parked in front of a residence and removed items of value from this vehicle. This occurred during the early morning hours on 3-26-22. This case is under investigation.

On 3-25-22 Deputy Manuel Segura responded to a residence on Taylor Loop (East Frontage Road) in Santa Fe County. Deputy Segura learned an unknown person(s) had been using an account of  without the permission of the owner's and had removed money from it.

At this time this case is under investigation.

The above subject was pulled over for a traffic violation. The above subject is believed to have driven while under the influence. The above subject was arrested and booked into ADC.

2022001868/Burglary/03-24-2022

Location: 2300 Block of Henry Lynch Road, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Essential Household Items

On Thursday, March 24th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area for a report of an after the fact burglary. Contact was made with the victim and they advised on 02-21-2022, unknown individuals gained unlawful entry into a storage lot and stole stole the above mentioned items. Suspect information is pending at this time and the case remains under investigation.

2022001851 / Aggravated Battery / 3-23-22

Location: Magpie Rd., Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: 33 YO Male

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a 911 call where the dispatcher was able to hear a female screaming.  Upon deputies arrival it was learned a suspect had battered his wife. The male was taken into custody and was booked. The case is under investigation.

2022001847 / Unlawful Taking of a Motor vehicle / 3-23-22

Stolen: 2011 Silver Honda Accord, NM/LRF589

On Wednesday, March 24th, 2022, deputies responded to the above location for a report of a stolen vehicle. Contact was made with the victim and they advised the vehicle was taken between noon and 9 PM. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen. This case remains under investigation.
