Victim reported that on this date sometime 11/05/13 and today some unknown person unlawfully entered their white Jeep through an unlocked door. Victim stated the above listed items were stolen as the vehicle was parked at the above location; victim valued the stolen items at about $3800.00. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Suspect: Everett Ortega Age: 55 Espanola,NM
Victim reported to Deputy that the listed suspect began to physically attack him over the victim having friends visiting at the home. Victim stated during the argument, the suspect brandished a handgun and put it to his chin. Suspect then discharged the firearm in the air. Suspect was arrested and transported to jail.

On 11/05/13 Deputy responded to Cholla Circle, in reference to a fraud. Victim reported between October 04, 2013 and November 05, 2013 two subjects fraudulently cashed several checks from his bank account. The total amount cashed was $1,728.00. Case under investigation

On 11/5/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 4:30 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. unknown persons gained entry to her residence by damaging the door. Victim stated that unknown persons took a TV, a Xbox gaming system w/2 controllers, a notebook, misc. Xbox games, and misc. change. Estimated value of items taken is $1,540.00. Estimated damage amount is $50.00

Victim reported receiving a phone call from his credit card company advising him of an $880.00 online purchase that was made with his credit card at a Wal-Mart out of Bentonville, Arkansas. Victim informed Deputy he had not made the purchases.

On 11/04/2013 Deputy responded to the avove location in reference to a Fraud. Victim stated sometime between March 07, 2013 and October 22, 2013 an unknown subject fraudulently used the victims EBT card through out different location in the Santa Fe area totaling the amount of $666.48.

On 11/3/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that sometime between 11/2/13 at 6:00 p.m. and 11/3/13 at 4:20 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into her residence. Victim stated that the unknown persons took a television, an Ipod, a jewelry box, and a file box. Estimated value of items taken is $1,020.00.
