Suspect: Ernest Martinez  Age: 30

Ernest Martiez was arrested for Battery against a Household Member after deputies responded to a domestic dispute and learned that he had battered a Household Member.  Marinez was booked accordingly.

Location: 100 Block of La Puebla Road  Espanola,NM   North Santa Fe County

Items Stolen: Scap Metal

Victim reported to Deputy that on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 unknown persons stole the listed type of items from his property. Victim stated that the theft took place between the hours of 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Case is under investigation.

0213017117, Revoked License, Leaving the Scene of Accident, 10/30/13

Location: 6629 Airport Road

Suspect: Desirae Valdez  Age; 25  Santa Fe

Desirae Valdez was arrested and booked for Driving on a Revoked License for a prior DWI and Leaving the Scene of an Accident after deputies responded to 6629 Airport Road regarding a crash involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian suffered minor injury to left leg when the suspect backed into the pedestrian who was walking in parking lot. Vehicle was seized pursuant to Santa Fe County DWI Seizure Ordinance.

Items Stolen: US Currency

Victim reported to Deputy that on this date between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:15 pm, unknown persons forced entry into the home and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to location in reference to Burglar Alarm. Upon Deputy Arrival, the home was found to have been burglarized. Case is under investigation.

Case#: 0213017056/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 10/29/13

Location:  residence off of Oriente Court, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado)

On 10/29/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into her residence by prying a window.  Victim stated that unknown persons took a computer, liquor, prescription medication, keys to the residence and vehicle, misc. jewelry, and a 1994 Oldsmobile sedan.  Estimated value of items taken is $16,155.00.  Estimated damage amount is $800.00.

Case#: 0213017057/ Aggravated Battery against a household member, Criminal Damage to property of a household member/ Date: 10/

Location:  3991 Camino Juliana, Santa Fe, NM (San Tierra Apts.)

Suspect:  13 year old male, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Agg. Battery against a household member, Criminal Damage to Property of a household member

On 10/29/13 deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a domestic dispute.  Victim stated that the suspect threw the TV, a chair and a night stand at her because he was angry at her for throwing his gaming system.  Victim was injured when the chair and the night stand struck her arm.  JPO authorized incarceration.  Suspect was transported to the Santa Fe County Juvenile Detention Center.

On 10/29/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into the residence through a window.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole a TV.  Estimated value of items taken is $724.00.  Estimated damage amount is $20.00

Case# 0213017022 Death Investigation

Deputy Assigned:  Deputy Chris Zook

Commander Entering:  Lieutenant Joe McLaughlin

Location:  Ravens Ridge Trail, Santa Fe, NM

Victim:  Female, 75, Santa Fe, NM

On Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 8:59 AM deputies and EMS responded to the location in reference to a report of an unresponsive female.  Upon arrival the victim was found with no signs of life and attempts to revive her were terminated.  The victim had a lengthy medical history.  Foul play is not suspected in this incident.

Case #0213017014 - AGG DWI - 10/29/13

Deputy assigned: Deputy Shannon Coles

Commander entering: Sgt. Daniel Chavez

Location: Zia Center - Airport Road

Arrested: Luis Marquez - age 54, Santa Fe, NM

On 10/29/13, at about 1:00am, the driver was found passed out in the driver seat of his vehicle while parked in the parking lot of the Zia Center. The driver was found to be impaired and was placed under arrest. He submitted to a breath test and the results were .30 and .31. He was booked into ADC accordingly.
