On 10/28/13 deputies responded to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into her residence by breaking a window. Victim stated that unknown persons stole 2 TVs, 2 laptops, a camera, an Xbox gaming system, misc. Xbox games, and 3 dogs. Estimated value of items taken is $4,200.00. Estimated damage amount is $100.00.

Stolen: Discover Card Checks
On October 28th, 2013 victim advised that checks were stolen from her mother’s address in Pojoaque. On October 11th unknown suspects took these checks and used them at a Giant Gas Station in Santa Fe to purchase items. The victim stated that she never uses checks from her credit card company. The amount used was 103.37.

Victim reported sometime between the hours of 8:00pm on 10/27/13 and 9:00 am on this date some unknown suspects Gained unauthorized entry into 3 storage units by cutting the pad locks. While inside a unit the above item were stolen.
The above listed item was valued at about $800.00

Location: Dunkin Road - Edgewood, NM
On 10/27/13, the victim called in a larceny in progress. The above deputy responded and saw the suspect vehicle leaving the area. The vehicle fled and a short pursuit ensued until the deputy lost visual of the vehicle. A short time later, the vehicle was found abandoned and the stolen property was recovered from the vehicle. The investigation is still ongoing.

On this date the above listed subject was arrested on battery on a house hold member, after a domestic disturbance was reported to Sheriff’s Office. Suspect admitted to battering his wife, he was charged and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail

The victim reported that sometime between 10:30am and 6:30pm on 10/26/13, someone entered her residence through an unlocked door and stole her laptop computer. She was not home at the time. The investigation is ongoing. No suspects or witnessess were known at the time of report.

Suspect: Emmanuel Ortiz Age 27 Santa Fe
Emmanuel Ortiz was stopped for a red light violation that occurred at the intersection of Airport Road and Zepol Road. Ortiz showed signs of impairment and after field sobriety tests was arrested for DWI. His B.A.C. was .08 or greater. Ortiz was booked accordingly.

Stolen: Black pocket book, brown wallet, Cash, Various Cards, and Driver License Total Estimated Value: $75.00
Victim reports at the above location unknown person(s) gained unlawful forced entry into a 2012 Ford F-150 by breaking a window. The incident took place sometime between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Once inside the above items were taken. Victim also reports fraudulent transactions on a credit card taken from the burglary. Case still pending further investigation.
